Didn't know weapon traps broke the game and I think you are finishing my turn and doing another year.

That surprised me as well, apparently weapons and armor now have wear like clothing does, and weapon traps do not know how to deal with it.

Also, Archibald, can we get a confirmation on the turn length please, I am fine with either, I have set things in motion, just need to know when to stop...

EDIT: To give you guys some insight into what is going on (writeup later this week) here is a commisioned statue I have envisioned for the fortress monastery (you can add custom images to artwork now, apparently...

I think I made copper serrated discs to trade with elves; but this was prior to the large rock pots to use up the diorite rocks.  I don't use weapon traps.

I dunno what you mean. Yeah, each of us has one turn that lasts one year  (from 16th granite to the 16th granite of the next year). But please define what you mean.

Btw, awesome statue. It shows the superiority of the dwarf race over xenos.

I think it's because wertyzerty had a partial progress until he has FPS issue.

So exodius1 either picked up the partial progress save; or revert back to my end of turn save.

If he started on the partial save, then exodius1's will have fewer months in his turn.

I got the save with partial progress.

The best part is, this image is saved so we can engrave it all over the place^^

Oh, Thank the Emperor 'cause I just noticed a major flaw with the design... I mean, of course, I will take this responsibility upon myself!

... Care to explain -.-?

Also, I like how the twenty dwarves are a reference to the Space Marines. Emperor approves.

It means I have dug a hole where it does not belong, will fix that. Post 1/2 later tonight, I had a busy week off -.-.

We need this in a main corridor somewhere. I remember smoothing out the first floor of bedrooms, maybe it will remind dwarves that they are superior to goblins and raise moral?

Dark red and white? Somewhat unusual, but ok. A complimentary colour would help.

Though I'm not sure what about it is vexing.

RE: Goblins

A goblin, pondering military ethics. That's progress, I suppose?

RE: Mood

Should have prevented copper bar usage. Iron armour would have been ok, given the lack of steel weapons on other civs.

...Oh, I forgot one could create shields. Well, never mind then, this is better.

Also FYI might wanna crop on-the-fly. Imgur has scripts to crop, upload, and place link in clipboard without even opening up a web browser.

For all its decoration materials, the decorations itself are not so illuminating. I wonder - is this affected by engraver level or creativity? Probably not, tho.

RE: Random Encounters

Bity Ettin. There is a time and place to care for hospitals and now is too late.

At least the loris might punish that. Or it might not. Though seems like you were saved by watchgeese.

ARE YOU INSANE?! Why did you allow that Greenskinned xeno into our library?! Do you really wish for a Goblin WAAAGH! that bad?! No wonder it is pondering about military ethics.

Also, damn... so much stuff happened. Between the two monstrosities and the fortress expansion, I am really happy where this is going.

But we really need more Dwarf Marines.
