Although, you could instead have them speak philosophically about their predicament. Something like, "KILL ME PLEASE OH GOD KILL ME NOW IT BURRRRRNS" or other similar sentiments.

Better yet, make their speech a mix between bad puns, philispohical musing on their situation, and pure agony.

Testing a Fructomancer update that should result in Fructomancers spawning in worldgen necromancer-style.

Never tried this. Jolly good fun.

Amusingly, you have to use the IMMORTALITY goal to get them to do things in Worldgen. However, Fructomancy does not grant immortality. It should be possible however to acquire both secrets. Will test this afternoon.

In any case, can you gibe XYZ-Mancers specific voice lines? Because they should absolutely be stereotypical farmers talking about how much they like fruit.

"Well jeez, I sure do feel like an apple would hit the spot!"

Does anyone know a good way to test if this is functioning in worldgen? By all rights it should be fine.

It functions properly in arena mode, and has the same tags that let necromancers be active in worldgen. But Legends viewer cannot parse by fructomancer.

Best way to test it is going to be generating a world and reading legends mode for any slabs containing the secret and the names of anyone who read them. Then go to adventure mode and try to find them. Not always successful. In fact, very time consuming...

Hmmm. Well I'm going to assume it is working, because the wiki is telling me it should absolutely work with the tags involved, and there's no error log problems. It even has it's own list of words to use for book/slab titles.

After that I am going to expand fructomancy. I think that if you kill a fruit victim it will drop a magical version of the fruit that gives temporary bonuses and powers.

I think they are going to give fruit-themed temporary super powers, leading fructomancers to keep a utility-belt-like collection of former creatures around.

Found a bug where sun berry apparently does not drop sun berries upon death according to the error log. I'm sure it's a silly thing easily fixed, and I'll have time later to do so.

Anyway let me know what's broken and how bad!
