Do we have another space pod, if we do we could land some where else and gather resources and then try and save the others.

Send the UFO into the atmosphere down to the encampment, open fire with our lasers on the motercycles below.

You launch another pod to a different location on the planet.



There's not much at the landing site, aside from a small deposit of lead. In the distance a tower looms over the new camp, as the smurfs begin mining lead.



You then enter the planet's atmosphere, locating the first encampment site, and open fire with your lasers on the motorcycles below! The motorcycles fire back, but this time it is their weapons that are ineffective, as you shirk off any damage and destroy one of the robotic vehicles!

The leader of the motorcycles then sends a sonic transmission to you:

"HALT! WE CYCLOBOTS HAVE BEEN CHARGED TO PREVENT THE DEVELOPMENT OF EXTRA-TERRESTRIAL LIFE ON THIS PLANET. YOU HOWEVER APPEAR TO BE OF MECHANICAL ASSEMBLY. WHY DO YOU ALIGN YOURSELF WITH THESE LIVING ORGANISMS?"

Cyclobot leader: "NOT QUITE YET. YOUR PROPERTY HAS BEEN FOUND TRESPASSING ON PRIVATE TERRITORY, FOR WHICH THERE IS A MONETARY PENALTY. WE DEMAND GOODS EQUIVALENT TO 1.00 KILOGRAMS OF GOLD VALUE PER UNIT OF TRESSPASSER DISCOVERED. FURTHERMORE, WE DEMAND AN ADDITIONAL 20.00 KG OF GOLD FOR THE DESTRUCTION OF ONE CYCLOBOT. THAT WILL BE A TOTAL OF 44.00 KG OF GOLD FOR THE RETURN OF ALL PROPERTY CURRENTLY HELD BY US. UNTIL THE PENALTY IS PAID, WE WILL HOLD SAID PROPERTY HERE WITHOUT FURTHER DAMAGING THEM."

The Cyclobot leader then launches a small glowing prism towards the captive smurfs. The prism expands mid-air into a Hyper-Glass containment cell, trapping the smurfs inside.

Cyclobot leader: "WE MAY CONTINUE OUR SKIRMISH IF THESE TERMS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. IN ANY CASE YOU WILL FIND IT DIFFICULT TO UNLOCK BY YOURSELF THE CONTRAPTION I HAVE JUST PLACED TO PREVENT THE ESCAPE OF THE FUGITIVE LIFE FORMS."

Nebulon: (inside the ship) "Intriguing. If I were you, I'd teach these fools a lesson. But alas, it's not really my business, I suppose. I shall return to my viewings."

Give the Cyclobot Leader the Mutated Smurf. By which I mean, drop the Mutated Smurf onto the Cyclobot Leader and have it ride it around like a motorcycle until the Cyclobot Leader is more amenable to compromise.

If this doesn't work go on a rampage destroying more Cylcobots.

You drop the Mutated Smurf onto the Cyclobot Leader! The Mutated Smurf firmly grabs hold of the Cyclobot's handlebars, proceeding to ride it around like a rodeo bull, as the latter haplessly tries to shake off its tenacious ambusher.

Cyclobot leader: "HALT! HALT! WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?"



The other Cyclobots attempt to shoot the Mutated Smurf off their leader, but aren't able to get a good shot.

The Mutated Smurf then starts to button mash on the Cyclobot leader's controls. The Cyclobot leader goes berserk for a moment before its energy dwindles and it collapses on the ground, barely functioning.

Cyclobot leader: "...SYSTEM... ERRQR..."



The rest of the Cyclobots stand around confusedly, unsure about what to do.

A laser beam then hits one of the Cyclobots, destroying it! You then realize that it was your laser. Uh, oops. Finger must have slipped on the trigger. The rest of the Cyclobots immediately flee the scene.



Nebulon: "Bahahahaha, how amusing! Perhaps there is some use for that mutated abomination after all."

You try and open the containment cell without shooting it. It seems to be completely sealed, with no immediately identifiable release mechanism. Upon further examination, you locate a small number pad built into the cell. There seems to be a pass-code with a 5 digit numerical input. Perhaps entering the correct code will open it.

The Cyclobot leader's communication device then starts ringing, but the Cyclobot leader himself is too disoriented to answer. Upon examining the Cyclobot leader's info-screen, the incoming call seems to be from an entity named "Lara". The ringing continues...

You accept the call...

You: "Hello?"

The voice on the other end sounds distorted, possibly due to a voice changer.

Lara: "...Cyclobot Leader?"

You: "I'm sorry, the Cyclobot Leader can't answer the phone right now. May I take a message?"

Lara: "Who is this?"

You: "This is the Cyclobot Leader's secretary... Dotti. May I take a message?"

Lara: "Since when does the Cyclobot Leader have a secretary?"

You: "Since today! I just started."

The Cyclobot Leader then jerks awake for a moment.

Cyclobot Leader: "Hnnnn nuhhhhh vrrrzzzzx!!--"

The Mutated Smurf quickly button mashes on the control panels, sending the Cyclobot Leader back into a dazed coma.

Lara: "What was that!?"

You: "Oh that was just my petbot Fluffers. It's okay Fluffers, I'll feed you soon!"

You signal to the Mutated Smurf, who mashes on the control panels some more, causing Cyclobot Leader to let out a confused murmur.

You: "Anyway, was there anything you needed with Cyclobot Leader?"

Lara: "Hmm... yes..."

Lara: "Tell Cyclobot Leader to meet me at the Tower in 3 hours, room X on the first floor. If he's late, there will be consequences."

The line then goes dead.

Meanwhile, the smurfs at the other encampment finish mining the rest of the lead deposit.
