While some of us like to play to the music in Dwarf Fortress already, I for one like to plug in my own playlist. What songs do you like to listen to though?

So while playing DF, I listen to this and an unhealthy amount of Nightcore.

I usually listen to Rimworld music as of late, but before that I listened to Sabaton. I'd switch the song based on what's going on, sometimes it'd be the price of a mile as everyone dies to grab some candy, night witches as giant keas bomb our trade depot, panzerkampf during a siege...

Also, unrelated, Panzerkampf makes an amazing DF remix about goblins invading your fort. Into the the Dwarven lands the Goblin armies marched...!

I mostly listen to other video game music. Kind of fitting I guess...
Some of my favorites are the calm Gunpoint and Sanctum soundtracks because my fortresses tend not to see many invasions (but I'm probably playing wrong ).

So while playing DF, I listen to this and an unhealthy amount of Nightcore.

I didn't realize you could listen to too much Nightcore; I thought it was always good for you, like kale or brussels sprouts...

I tend to build above ground forts, so that may impact my music choice, but I think that the game Stronghold has some very nice and fitting music.  The siege music works very well even if you're otherwise looking for something to fit an underground vibe.

I use a custom soundsense playlist to tailor the music to the situation.

It's mostly all from videogames, but during peaceful times I listen to a lot of town and overland music from The Last Remnant and a few other games.  In the Shadow of the Dragon Is really fitting for a heavily militarized 2nd or 3rd year fortress.  Sieges and various other attacks usually play battle music from different games.

I usually listen to SNES rpg soundtracks, like Final Fantasy 4-6, Secret of Mana, Seiken Densetsu 3, Live-a-Live, Terranigma, etc. though I do skip through them to fit the situation. Also Castlevania and Splatterhouse.

Most of the times I am playing without sound. The game itself is absorbing enough. Sometimes I enjoy soundtracks from games as Neverwinter Nights or Icewind Dale.

I just stream you tube videos on construction or nerdness on my third monitor while playing. My second has Dwarf Therapist of course.
