"Hm... Thag, Iron Brian believes we should be careful.  Iron Brian doesn't like all these blocked off doorways, Iron Brian thinks that gangsters are either hiding something, or trying to keep something in. "

Head up the staircase.

A suture is a type of lock, right?

Cast [lock] on my guts. Intent is above. Afterward, open the book. Intent is a sort of vague darkness that blends me into the background.

"Ah, a minor setback at most!"

Well, let's engage in some jolly cooperation jocund symmetry then!

Start by shooting Abu's Raven's kneecaps. Then progress to shooting him her in the neck spleen and immediately repairing it let her repair herself. Repeat until cooperation is produced.

"Could be.  Let me know if you find anything horrible and I'll punch it in the face.  Hopefully at least some of these goons are smart enough to just give up so they don't have to die."

Run up to the third floor.  Stab anyone who looks like a threat.  If nobody looks like a threat, go over to above the sealed off room on the second floor, and punch through the floor.

Approach the barricades and use them for cover, aiming over them. Wait. Do any of the voices seem to draw closer?
    • If they draw closer from the north, get ready to fire from behind the barricades.
    • If they seem to draw closer from the south, vault over the barricades and get ready to fire.
    • If they seem to draw closer from both directions, crouch and get ready to fire on the ones from the south first.
    • Otherwise, just vault over and loot the corpses.

A powerful 3-shot magazine rifle sounds a-okay to me. Would it come with some free ammo?
Also, looks like Syv took care of the shopping list. Thanks Syv.

I'll just faff about and keep an eye on Abu's little duel for now.

    "That doesn't even make sense!"

    "AGHH!"

Raven fires rounds down at Abu until the gun clicks empty, but Abu rolls out of the way of every shot while yelling "WOOP WOOP WOOP".

You enchant your flesh and it twists, braiding itself together in a way most violent and unpleasant. It doesn't heal so much as it is torn to tiny fibers and then twisted up and knotted together into a fleshy scab of a thing.

Once you manage to get the red out of your vision and not vomit from the pain, you open the book. Immediately a darkness explodes out of the book and envelops you and a large area around you. You can feel the book's pages turning on their own and seemingly burning away or dissolving beneath your fingers.

Approach the barricades and use them for cover, aiming over them. Wait. Do any of the voices seem to draw closer?

You move behind the barricades and are just about to leap over and loot some bodies when someone comes running in from the north. They don't look like a gangster or a criminal, they look like a civilian, but they're running at full sprint towards you. You pop up and aim your gun at them. They immediately try to skid to a stop and instead fall over backwards and onto their ass.

Quickly go where Joseph and Geiger are, once I have sight of any hostile enemies, fire an orb at them. Otherwise, keep moving as far as possible.

Jet down the stairs and head for the wall north of the platform.  If I reach the wall, activate Beastly, and punch through it.  I want to avoid the ambush hallway.  If I don't have time to punch it, don't cast the spell and just move.

In case we're gonna actually start the next mission: retrieve rifle and go find a good sniper spot in our home hex. Preferably with good lines of sight but still offers cover and concealment.

In case we're not: scuttle away all crab-like and take some potshots with the backup rifle! As before, don't target any of the vital areas, only the funny ones.

By the way, what happened to the speed rolls?
