Now that syv is here, let the discussion be! Actually, a lot of my points have thankfully been anticipated by him, so I'll add only thus:

• Perhaps Egan/Raven could cast [Spear - Spear - Clockwork] to summon or enchant a melee weapon with greater reach for this next fight? I'd really rather not fight a caustic monster from up close if I can help it, and the size of the Dreamer's Gate fortifications indicates that some of them might be fairly large, and thus also a good case for a longer-reach weapon. Something like a halberd, or a glaive, or something else with a blade on the end (something tells me slashing damage is marginally more useful against animate monsters than piercing) - perhaps enchanted from one of my combat knives as basis?
• Please give Darkness to Abu this time, with the intention of testing [Darkness - Light_Source] eventually. It's too scientifically fascinating.
• While "first-aid kits" is pretty self-explanatory, given the setting it might not actually be included (nor am I aware if it's even included IRL), so I'd suggest asking specifically: Weak base (and possibly weak acid), for chemical burns treatment, as they seem not too rare in this setting. Plus, I suppose, it can prove useful under some weird adventuring circumstances too.
• Finally, isn't a Lock a pretty useful word as well? It seems like not much, but I think it can be used to install locks anywhere, which can prove enormously useful on a less combat-oriented mission. Also, I wonder if it can be used to shut someone's mouth, eh? ;)  (But maybe I'm sorely mistaken on how this word works.)

You could always take a lvl in dex and use a gun for this mission. Or we could transform you into a full clockwork monstrosity and copy you with many and let your clones just go to town :p

Or you could just stand back a little and plug the gap if we have a breach somewhere. I do have that long pole if you wanna make a halberd or a pike or something with some more range, you could use that if you want.

It'd be interesting, but I was kinda figuring to hold on to lightsource in case we ever encounter low light situations, either magical or natural. It seems like a good word to keep as a backup, y'know, to prevent getting caught off-guard.

I don't think you really wanna heal an actual acid/base wound or spill with the opposite, and more by applying copious amounts of water. I guess it couldn't hurt to have some though, and we seem to have hammer spaces so carry weight shouldn't be an issue. But I'd prefer spending more words on getting RoboBird operational

Description: An older man past his prime, Corven still carries himself with the intimidating aura you'd expect from a crime boss... except when he's dealing with his daughter, who he's completely incapable of saying "No" to.  That usually works out better than you'd expect, since he managed to get her the formal education he never had, though he still has wisdom on her.  Has something of an unhealthy obsession with birds, though not nearly as much so as his daughter.

The Giant cat absorbs some of the blast and heat, but not all of it. The impact of the meteor is like a bomb blast and most of the gang is a mere 15 or so feet away from it.  Chu and Shade, along with the entire bloody contents of the bottom of the pit are swallowed up in a fireball and spewed up as impact debris. Most of the rest of the pit is scorched and everyone is thrown back or up by the pressure wave.  Thag finds himself on the upper most level again, with a bone shard the size of a short sword lodged in his left leg and his right shoulder dislocated. If Chu or Shade is alive, he can't see them and they're not conscious to say anything. All he can see is smoke, dust,  and scattered bits of burning meat raining down from the sky.
