"In the event that we need to interact with any locals, our cover is that we've been hired by a Govitz intelligence officer, and are not at liberty to give further details. We will try to avoid having to give this story." Jack looked past his assembled troops. Behind them, the captain of the Broken Halo was approaching. "Yes Captain?"

"Jack. There's been a Govitz ship in sight for a while now. It looks like they're coming our way. Seems like a small pirate hunting vessel, and its gaining on us pretty fast. She'll overtake us pretty soon."

"I see. Hold course until they get close the distance. When they're almost on top of us, come about. We'll engage them. It'll be a live exercise for my time."

"I guess it's time to stop drinking." Abelard commented before taking another swig.

"A fight, then?  So much for keeping us grounded, huh."

Despite it all, Ria was grinning, and nearly hopping from foot to foot.  Or she might be, if her balance was stable enough.

"Well, good!  Me and Val needed a chance to stretch our wings."

Lucette unstrapped her staff from her back with a sigh, taking one last and long puff from her cigarillo before she casually hucked the cigarillo overboard.
:"Wish I had my old knives... Well, Michael, here's your chance to get a little bit of more simple adventure in, eh?"

"Excellent. Oh, absolutely excellent."
Theodore seems far too eager.

After some tense waiting, the two ships collided with a thunderous crash. Jack and Abelard bridge the gap between the ships with a few heavy planks.

"Prioritize the mages." Jack draws his weapon- like his subordinates, he was carrying Govitian iron.

Rune had hung back from the group, ducking behind the mast when the ship arrived. A quiet muttered curse escaped her lips as she ran her hand through her hair several times and then passed the same hand over her eyes. When she stepped back around and rejoined the group, she was no longer instantly recognizable as the same woman, though any amount of time spent looking at her face would reveal her to be the same.

By the time the ships collided, Calo already had 5 arrows out of the quiver and at the ready in his draw hand. Giving nothing but a silent nod to Jack's orders, he followed behind the axeman. An eye honed in on his target, a single breath, and brought up the bow and loosed his current shot at the nearest mage, another arrow deftly shifting in his fingers to replace it before the projectile had even fully left the string.

Rune moved down next to the light mage who had been talking to her earlier and quietly chanted.

"Let the aches of battle wash away that you may find yourself refreshed and ready to fight once more."

A shower of sparks accompanied her chants and they slowly drifted over and landed on Evra, dancing on her skin for a second before slowly absorbing into her body. The woman should feel energized and able to push forward more quickly than normal.

1-9, perform Evra

(4,7), stab Magician A, then canto back to original spot (or (3,7) if I can't make it)!
