He stopped to examine a few of the bodies. All those he had seen thus far had been seared, though the blast patterns were... much neater than what fire magic was capable of. Looking at a few more, it seemed it was the same story for nigh all the corpses on the upper level.
"She really did all of this single-handedly?"

It only lent more credence to what he'd seen at the crater. Seemed the legends had indeed not been exaggerated in the least bit. He returned his focus to the squad. Most of them had rushed on ahead, preparing to storm the final chamber. He probably wouldn't have caught up with his uneven gait anyway, at this rate.
"Hmph. Wonder if the bastards had any prisoners. Let's find out..."

And with that, he limps over to the nearest barred door, peering through...

Lucette for now brushed Evra off - because her attention was now rather singularly focused on the room full of bandits they were approaching, and that vicious grin had spread wide across her face once more. She peeked by the door as she moved past it, that grin matched by a disturbingly eager tone of bloodlust in her voice.
:"Fuckin' bandits, hanging around to just rob and kill random people with whatever brutish methods your uncivilized minds can come up with... let me show you how homicide is really done."
And then she winged a knife around the doorway as she finished moving.
It had been far, far, far too long since she'd got to be like this. Lucette, for once, truly felt alive.
