Rune briefly smiled and sat down near the woman, watching her work. The question was a standard one since her magic was less than standard.

"My main help to the group in combat, at least at first, will be my charms. I know basic refreshment charms that can help people continue to push through in battle as well as some other basic charms. Nothing too major but they can be surprisingly useful. I can also do very basic illusions and have a rough base in anima magic, but I'm out of practice with those."

[Sirus]

Keyleth actually paused in her sharpening endeavors.

: "I've never heard of such things. Are you making this up?"

[Swordstar]

A frown settled onto her face, an expression that was clearly more familiar to her than the smile that had been there briefly before.

"Which part? The refreshment charm? The illusions? I'm assuming not the anima magic. Why would i lie about something like this?"

[Sirus]

: "The charms. The illusions. Sometimes people make things up to impress others. Some people lie so much they even lie to themselves. Of course," she added after a moment, "The fact that you're hear means that there must be some truth to your claims. Either that or you managed to fool Jack completely, and he doesn't strike me as gullible."

"Something like that. We won't be carrying anything we don't need into Govitz. That said, there's no reason not to enjoy what we have." Jack held the cigar up to his mouth, but then lowered it, thinking. "Harel, gather the rest of the team. I'm going to go over the mission details." The cigar returned to Jack's mouth.

[Swordstar]

"They... have their reasons for sending me, yes. However, if you doubt the illusions..."

She copied the gesture from earlier where she threw sparks at the ground causing a flash. When they cleared, Keyleth was met with a perfect match for their leader.

"I still have plenty to work on, but I'm not lying when I talk about my skills. That I can assure you of."

[Sirus]

Under the helmet, Keyleth raised an eyebrow. She was actually impressed.

: "Neat trick. You'd make a great assassin with talent like that."

[Swordstar]

The fake Jack shrugged, except instead of Jack's shoulder's moving, instead Rune's shoulder's popped through. Waving her hand, the image dissipated and she grinned slightly.

"Only if I could stand perfectly still the entire time. It's still a work in progress. I can't do it to other people, I can't have them stand on their own, and most annoyingly, I can't move while using them to disguise myself. Some day though."

[Sirus]

: "Pity. Guess you'll just need to keep working on it." She provided a handy visual aid by resuming her eternal sharpening chore. "Everyone needs goals to work towards, I guess."

[Swordstar]

"It would be pretty boring if I was already perfect, yes. Or incredibly annoying like with that Theo fellow..."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"No problem, sir."
Theodore heads off, surprisingly without any ham. Huh.

He does as Jack orders, heading around to the other members of the group to say the same thing:
"Jack wants us all together. We're getting a briefing on what's going on."

[Sirus]

: "I could probably kill him for you if you wanted," Keyleth offered. "I'm sure Jack doesn't need all of us."

[Twinwolf]

:"If that was a joke, it wasn't one of your very funny ones. It had better have been a joke, though, because I went and convinced Jack you'd show discretion here, don't disappoint him. Plus, enemy territory is really not where you want to be a liability anyway."

She took out a flint and tinderbox, and through some well practiced movements she got the cigarillo lit, taking a long pull.

"Joking, joking. As magnificent as that would be, I'm an intelligent man. I know the meaning of discretion."

[Caellath]

"I guess you could call it a party." was Abelard's reply to Theo. Then Jack summoned the rest of the group.

"Good thing we're here already, all ready and inspired by rum."

Rune had been about to respond to Keyleth's... intriguing offer when the man himself showed up. A small grimace on her face, she nonetheless followed after him and waited patiently for the rest of the group to arrive to listen to the debrief.
