Evra slowly picked herself up off the ground after Calo gave her the last of his medicine. She fully expected to resume lying in her puddle of blood in a moment; however, the inevitable prick before losing consciousness never came.

"This is unexpected. Regardless, I will make the most of it."

Evra to 14-2 kill the wyvern

With the final burst of energy provided by Rune's magic, Keyleth directed her reptilian mount forward one more time.

: "Kill!"

Seeing the last of their enemies die horribly, Jack turned to Lucette, clearly tired and weak. "Hey, Lucette. Grab my hand for a minute, okay? Hold it tight." He stretched out a hand to Lucette. It seemed his arm had, indeed, been broken.

Leaving Skar to his well-earned meal, Keyleth removed her helmet for examination. As she had suspected, the metal had been badly stressed and had even split at one point. It'd take a skilled blacksmith a lot of time and money to fix, and the team had neither to spare. At least the leather padding inside had spared her more serious injury.

: "Damn. That was a good helmet, too." The wyvern rider sighed and tossed it aside.

"Ya could keep it. It's not like it's totally wrecked, right?" Abelard asked as he went around to check the state of the rest of the group. He'd been nearly untouched during the fight and was in high spirits.

Rune frowned, flexing her hand. Her performances just weren't quite up to snuff. Her father would be ashamed of her if he could see her now. ... For several reasons, but that wasn't important. A small sigh, a shake of her head, and she turned back to the group at large. Spotting a prone figure, she let out a louder sigh and slowly made her way over to him. Finding the worst wound, she carefully spread some of her vuln on it, and then tossed the rest of it to him.

"Here. A man of your 'talents' should be able to take care of the rest."

The strength of Evra last attack had surprised her, she hadn't meant to display such force.

Perhaps...

Putting the thought aside for a later date, she went back to Calo.

"I didn't get a chance to during the battle; however, now that we are safe -for now at least- I would like to offer you my thanks. I'd have bled out without you risking yourself for my sake."

"You're still injured aren't you? Let me treat your wounds."

Lucette wasn’t in fantastic shape either; an arrow had found its way between her ribs, and another arrow had bounced off of her skull, nonetheless leaving a deep cut that bled down her face. She wiped at  her brow with her hand in an attempt to keep her vision clear, but when the blood just trickled back down she gave up on that endeavor. Still, she had a job to do, so she couldn’t slow down.
:"Damn it all. Are we setting your arm, Jack?"
Lucette then indeed grabbed the Ersht agent’s hand. Despite the spy’s broken arm, her grasp wasn’t gentle — but what it was was firm and steady enough to let him do what he needed to do while minimizing further injury.

"No, we're sharing a tender moment while Batali's lizard eats a man." Jack clenched his teeth, and with a swift, precise movement, pulled back against Lucette. The sound of bones moving back into place were unpleasant, but Jack's arm at least appeared to be the correct shape again. The leader wobbled slightly as he breathed heavily, fighting the urge to scream or cry. "We need- we need to get in good enough shape to move. Can't stay here, someone will come looking for this patrol sooner or later. There's another town to the east of here, but it's over a mountain. We need to find some place to hole up, and gather our strength." Jack spit some blood out onto the ground, and looked over Lucette. "...You look as bad as I feel. Do you need help getting yourself in order before you set everyone else right?"
