I wanted CHAIRS in the dining room, not FLOODGATES!!!

...Yeah, so I see a dwarf hauling a floodgate through the dining room, and wondering why, I follow him, only to discover the dwarves are building a row of floodgates next to the row of tables, right where the chairs were supposed to go >.>

It's almost like your dwarves have no faith in your waterworks. =P The halls will run red with dwarven wine!

Better yet, the floodgates are in the middle of the room - no walls nearby!

I remember someone had a similar problem with bituminous coal being recognized as gems. That was caused (I think) by a bad install. I suggest you reinstall DF.

the (x) key for floodgates is rather close to the (c) key for chairs.....
