Wolf Fbzib draws near the mousemen. With the energy of sheer terror the squirming duo pop through the door just as the wolf's teeth nash through the opening.
In a wild spint, Leonard moves in to take the opening held by Fbzib. But the doors slams in both their faces.
Running to catch up, Blake hears something behind her. Has the metal door from the other hall squeeked open?

Blake turns around, ready to strike if something attacks.

"Leonard? Fbzib?"

[Puppyguard]

Fbzib chuckled. Haha, they think a mere DOOR can stop me? Fbzib begins melting and turns into a small blue puddle. It moves through the crack under the door.

As Fbzib slides under the door, he reminisces for a second about the events leading up here. The trail that brought him to this dark fortress and what he saw that showed him the way to his new enemy.

Summary: Upon some choice meetings and bizarre revelations by the enigma on an entity known as Fbzib, Blake and Leonard venture further into the fortress. The Mousemen appear to have set up shop. Yet, while exploring, Fbzib flashes back to the events that transpired to bring him here: Events involving Nightmare.

Chapter IV
Two Weeks Before The Present Day

All Characters (aside from Fbzib) start outside the small town of Torastur, a township surrounded by plains, with a river running nearby.

Hovering just scant inches away from the crooked and cut sign that denotes the name of the township of Torastur, Fbzib's eyes gaze around. This is where Nightmare's trail seems to have ended, yet no one seemed scarred or mutated. Hell, they seemed happy. So, why could he sense the presence of the Dark One so close by?

He must be hiding. Fbzib thought to himself. He knows I'm close. Glancing at himself, Fbzib realized that any allies of nightmare would recognize him instantly. Fbzib takes a humanoid form complete with a blue cloak to hide himself.

((I wait for nightfall on the plains to appear. Then do so.))

Fbzib concentrates on the town before him, drawing forth a conclusion relatively quickly. "He must be hiding. He knows I'm close." he thinks, before glancing downward at his orb-like shape. Quickly, he transforms into a human shape, his familiar blue instead falling around his body like a cloak. He looks like an old, hooded man covered in blue. Perfect for sneaking about. As he looks around the town, he notices that some of the smiling, laughing villagers are wearing some kind of insignia, possibly a religious symbol or organizational pendant.

Xo doesn't have to wait long. The sky is a rich orange and the sun appears to be dangling just below the horizon. Only another scant thirty minutes and xe can act however xey please.

Xo does the ghost equivalent of rubbing one's eyes and feels darkness approaching the mortal plane. Xe remembers, a river xe was following...

(wait for total night to corporate)

Xe is not usually a fan of a lively town, but the negative aura is curious....

Xe watches for signs of night activity from xeir position on the river.

Curious. Fbzib eavesdroped on the laughing villagers.

Xo simply lies in wait for the moon to fall.

At the sound of the laughter and the sign of the insignia, Fbzib attempts to listen in on them. [6] He begins listening in very intently. A mother is telling her children to get inside before "Our Lord" comes to them, an elderly woman is accepting donations to the local church, and there is a rather large building with the same insignia, presumably the church. Dogs are barking at it intently, their fangs bare and their growls loud. Before Fbzib can investigate further, he is suddenly spotted; the church donation lady suddenly runs to him. Before he can defend himself, the lady stops and holds out her bucket. "Spare a schilling for the Church?" she asks.

[Puppyguard]

"Regrettably, I am broke." Fbzib said to the woman, whilst trying to draw as little attention as possible to himself.
Fbzib quietly makes his way towards the church.
