Galen gives Otto a dubious look before turning to Nuallán.

”You’re right, it could have gone much better. We ran into some bandits who were chasing Beatrice, here.”

Beatrice smiles and gives a short wave.

"Yeah but now the bandits are feeding the worms, so I consider running into them a win overall."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"We did take a bit of a wallopin' there, though, on account of bandits bein', well, bandits. Nothin' we can't walk off."

[Caellath]

"Outstanding."

"You must have heard about the scenario. I would like to say you are safe here now, but those hare-brained ruffians have been far too bold as of recently. You might yet see some action during your stay."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"Nothin' we can't handle."

[Sirus]

Otto scoffed, still not bothering to rise.

: "If the pathetic scum on the main road gave you trouble, the ones around here will likely put you in your grave. Even our captain is having a difficult time with them."

[IamanElfCollaborator]

"That a challenge, sir? 'Cause if it is, you really do got yourself another thing comin'."

[Sirus]

Another snort.

: "What, a challenge to duel? In another time, if I were not in the Shields, perhaps I would indeed deign to offer single-combat to a peasant like yourself. Luckily for you, all you have to worry about for the moment are the local bandit groups."

[SOLDIER First]

”You’re being very disrespectful, you know. I don’t see any reason for you to treat us like this. Did we do something wrong?”

"I think he might just be an asshole, Galen. By the way, I'm not really familiar with the area. Where's the nearest large city?" Aiesha hadn't actually communicated her plans to anyone in the group since meeting them, but now seemed like a decent time to bring it up.

[SOLDIER First]

”Um... That’s a... strong way to put it...”

"He just called you all weakling children, and then lorded his birth status over you. Is it really?"

[SOLDIER First]

”...Well...”

“I suppose not... but it still isn’t any more polite than what he’s doing.”

"I'm common as dirt, I'm not expected to be polite."

: "Aw c'mon now everyone, ain't we all in it ta protect folks and make the world a better place? Ain't no need ta quarrel, is there?"
