It was an oversight on the hand of the CO to not have a First Lieutenant lead the team.

TURN 4

Take my troops carefully into the bombed-out area, looking for Nazis to capture.

   [3+1=4 vs 1] After cresting the hill, a Nazi turns out from around a wall, getting the jump on Grey whilst they were still too far from cover to be safe. Just before his finger squeezed the trigger to release the deadly lead, the wall collapses on the poor man.

   [4][1][1][1][4] The search for defenseless Nazis went horrifically bad. One Nazi was found hiding in a crater, his weapon busted into a billion pieces. One dude from New York stepped on a covered, undetonated HE shell from the USS Missouri, killing him and  another two troops. The explosion startled another Nazi into running. Right into our boys and a surrender.

Start flanking, trying to get to the building the sniper is shooting from unseen.

[6-1=5 vs 5] Dead sprinting to the house, PFC Guy ducks and dodges into cover as the sniper takes pot shots, but misses by mere milimeters. Guy makes it to the door and kicks it in, seeing a giant hole in the ground, leaking water from busted pipes and a hole in the ceiling about a fourth of the size. A single stairwell hangs about six feet away, over the hole quickly filling with water.

((As I said earlier, my schedule is erratic and I have no data or service on my phone here, so please bear with the lack of updates. Today is the first time that I've been able to get on the internet since my last post, but I'll also be on in a limited capacity tomorrow.))

Keep capturing Nazis! More carefully this time!

[6][3][2][5] One guy in PFC Grey's squad tosses a rock into a building, where it hits a Nazi in the head, he falls down and accidentally discharges his rifle into a store of fuel. It explodes into fire, burning out the rest of the building. Another guy looks his hardest but only finds rubble. The last guy finds some Nazis, who then pin him down with small arms fire. PFC Grey "Persuades" a small group of Nazis to surrender.

   PFC Callahoun makes his way to Currach. He crests the hill. [5 vs 1] A small halftrack loaded up with an MG42 comes screeching to a halt in front of Callahoun. He doesn't even have time to recognize it before the vehicle bursts into flames.

I understand perfectly, My liberty is only between 1400 (2:00 PM) to 2100 (9:00 PM), but I have a lot of stuff to do, and we get held up for extra cleaning, and it takes at least thirty minutes to walk all the way to the USO to get on the wifi, and I have to find a liberty buddy to go with or I can't go, and ((Final one)) I only have off building liberty every other day. So I have to make these on Saturdays and Sundays.

TL;DR: I don't have much time.


I feel you with the hurricane, though. I got my orders the day before yesterday and was supposed to be shipping off to my 'A' school. I got into my dress uniform, had my sea bag on my back, my garment bag in one hand and my bookbag in the other. Then they cancelled my flight due to the hurricane. So I'm stuck here until Thursday at the very least.

TL;DR: Fuck hurricanes.
