"That, and the stuff we get is mass produced. But a tailor-made suit of armour should be pretty comfortable and easy to move around in if it was built for practical use. Who made it for you exactly?" Malthe interjected, the topic that Kard and Alana had brought up piquing his curiousity.

Alana blushed a bright red and stared down at the ground.

"It's really not important. It was more made to be parade armor over anything else I think. Besides, I'm more used to fighting without it at this point. It'd be silly to do something that could hurt my fighting ability when we're facing rebellion."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Eh, I suppose so. But after things cool down it'd be a good idea to train with it for a while. Lemme tell ya, after a while you barely notice until the end of the day." Kard thumped a fist against his breastplate.

[Taricus]

"Yeah, it takes time to adjust to armour like Kard's or my own. That being said, there are easier to wear armours like brigandine or jack if spending time in plate doesn't suit you."

[Swordstar]

"Maybe at some point. For now I'll stick with just getting a change of clothes. Thankfully I brought plenty of outfits in case something like this happened."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Well, I wouldn't say armor is strictly necessary. If one is agile enough it is much easier to dodge enemy attacks than it is to try to absorb them with one's armor."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"Yeah, and I could try to fight the enemy with my bare fists. Having armor is better than not having it, so long as you know how to move in it."

[Taricus]

"If you're changing clothes after they're getting damaged, you'll run out in short order. And Matthias, going into combat without armour is a bad idea. Sure, you could dodge but you won't dodge everything."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"I can make my counterpoint easily. I've only been lightly wounded, whereas Kristijan... well, if Hallbjorn wasn't here he would have died several times over."

[Blade Master Model 42]

"If he's been hurt that badly that often, his armor has probably saved his life."

[SeriousConcentrate]

"Perhaps it merely weighed him down. I know were I to wear armor it would inhibit my agility and I would likely come to far more harm than I will without it."

"Sounds like a bunch of pointless guessing to me. If you can't handle or use something, that's no reason to say it's no good."

[SeriousConcentrate]

Matthias shrugged.

"You might be right. Regardless, my point is that if miss Fardoragh is used to fighting without armor, it would be best for her to continue as she started."

Hearing his name, Kristijan smiled a little sheepishly and stepped into the conversation.
:"I think my armor helped, and I like to think I did have a couple of moments where I was avoiding a bunch of stuff. It’s just, uh... armor can only do so much, you know? Unless I were to wear, like... as much as Sverrand or my mom."

[SOLDIER First]

Sverrand bangs his fist against his chest.

”Heavy armor like this isn't for everyone. It takes practice to be able to use effectively, and even then you might work better without it, like Alana. You can't just "wear" it."
