Bizarrely, Leon finds a similar situation out in the clearing as he found in Baires' house. Papers, though they looked nothing like the parchment he was familiar with, were scatted on the forest floor. Before he could get a chance to examine even one, however, a man robed in red and blue stepped into his sight from seemingly nowhere.

"I don't know why you're here, but you're not supposed to be. However, it doesn't really matter." With a wave of his hand the papers disappeared. "In the very least you could say you're richer for the experience..." He palmed a thumb sized gem. "But take this as compensation for your time."

Leon gets Strange Brown Gem.

"But don't make a habit of this, you understand?" For a brief moment overwhelming magical power crashed into Leon. The next moment the man was gone.
