Gotcha.

Because you've explicitly mentioned that certain territories can support multiples of the same building, I assume by default you can not build duplicates, is this correct?

Standard barbarians remain in their location, burning stuff and leeching money till you deal with them or till they leave on their own (that's a small chance tho).

One caffeine-filled evening later, I have managed to produce a sort-of Trade Route system with caravans and Profit calculations.

Also Tea plantations, because what is East Asia China-expy Land of Han without delicious leaf drinks?

Three very important questions for all Players:

1. Does Tea feel like a filler, or is a welcome add-on?

2. What do you think about Trade Route/Caravan system? Is it chaotic or looks fiddly to use, or maybe is OK?

3. Most importantly: Would you be against inclusion of Tea and Trade Routes into currently on-going game?

I think the Tea is a nice thing to put into grassland provinces so they're not just empty space.

Trade is a tad confusing but nothing bad.

I'd be fine including both in this game.

As long as both Warlords decide to sustain the Route, it boosts income. Of course, any intermediary (guys who take 'passage fees') can also cancel it, necessiting a new caravan to be sent and the route to be re-made (perhaps with a more trustworthy middleman, too) ;v

All in all, the feasibility of Trade depends on whether the Warlords want to and trust each other with such mercantile venues v:

Yep, whatever you send abroads no longer goes into your Treasury 'directly'.

EDIT: There is now limit on amount of Trade Routes you have, equal to Capital Provinces you control*2

I was going to update but then noticed that we're lacking Wolfhunter's post, oh well (he didn't get here before THE DOWNTIME, rip).

Also, next update will introduce Tea Plantations to the game. Yay for leaf drinks! Caravan/Trade Route system will get added some other day (or in the next game).

I think I will have to throttle Daoist coverage bonus to +1 per 33% (+3 at full 100% compared to current +5). In such a conquest-heavy game, +5 is whole half a dice :I
