Request For a Cutebold mod

Hello i enjoy the little drawings of cutebolds that have been floating around i would very much appreciate it if someone with more knowledge of modding make a cutebold mod please and thank you

enemy post i have already cheeked out that mod and cheeked the raws and they didn't really change the appearance of the kobolds and kittytac i would prefer the thieves to not be invincible

What do you mean by changing their appearance? Do you want the game to call them cutebolds? If so, that's a really simple change. Just change the line in the Kobold raws from

[NAME:kobold:kobolds:kobold]
[CASTE_NAME:kobold:kobolds:kobold]

to

[NAME:cutebold:cutebolds:cutebold]
[CASTE_NAME:cutebold:cutebolds:cutebold]

Then, rewrite the description to describe them however you want.

Like this:

Finally, change this bit at the bottom.

BROWN here controls their skin color. Eliminate it to have no mention of their skin, or change it however you want. It needs to be all-caps. You can find a list of colors in the raws. Their yellow eyes are controlled in a similar way. Get rid of it or change PUPIL_EYE_YELLOW to something else as you like.

No problem, Gigabye. I have time, and these requests aren't hard. Anyway, for your changes.

This is the standard kobold body:

They already have three toes to a foot. To get your changes, switch 5FINGERS to 3FINGERS and add a TAIL part. The floppy ears will be a bit trickier, but it's not too complicated. We need to make a new body part. This is the default ear:

thank you so much now what should i put to make it playable in adventure mode and also will the 3 fingers impair it grasping ability and can i put [can_speak] while also keeping utterances

To make them playable in adventure mode, put [ALL_MAIN_POPS_CONTROLLABLE] in their civ inside entity_default. Then, put [OUTSIDER_CONTROLLABLE] in their creature file. You can put in CAN_SPEAK and keep UTTERANCES. Having three fingers will not interfere with their gripping ability.

You're welcome. Let me know if I need to fix anything. The errorlog in the main Dwarf Fortress folder is useful for things like this.
