His tone here was... rather blasé, but then he did wince. "I am sorry that it didn't go much better for you, Claude."

"I'm just glad you didn't get knocked out when the me-shaped projectile hit you."

  "Potential death? Preposterous. We have some skilled healers at our side, at most he would be injured."
Vortai turned his attention to Fer as soon as he spoke up.

Gawen just shakes her head and slides off her horse to conduct a post-battle inspection for wounds.

Ethan puts on the crown.

"So, how's this thing supposed to work again?"

Ethan felt a familiar surge of power when he put on the circlet. Fortunately, it's mechanism seemed simpler, as he merely had to focus on not falling to begin levitating off the deck.

Ethan gains ability Crown of Flight: activate to gain Flying for 1 turn without being vulnerable to Bows/Wind. 2 turn cooldown.

Ethan takes the crown off.

"Eugh, I hate this. Imagine not having solid floor under your feet!"

He scrunches his nose and then looks around.

"Well, the other two ships are gone... we might as well continue our journey."

"It's truly unfortunate that the relics will only respond to royalty."

[Haspen]

Ethan thinks briefly.

"...why not, won't hurt trying."

And he puts the crown on Gawen.

Gawen blinks in bemusement, but attempts to float after a moment.

While only for a brief moment, Gawen does begin to levitate. But when trying to float a small distance away from Ethan, she instantly falls on her armored ass.

"Fascinating." He steps closer to Gawen, helps her up and takes the crown back.

"I wonder if its my blood doing that or what..."

[Chevaleresse]

"I do not know if it is powered by your blood or if it simply recognizes the rightful ruler. If it is the former, be sure to hold onto it tightly should you be impaled or exsanguinated."
