"That is Lady Cawallader to you. And I'm moving to stand against these bandits, so I'm afraid my being in your way is of low priority."

"...Cowladder? Also excuse me but I think my axe is better suited for the job. As are my comrades."

The lady running the inn didn't seem to mind too much.

Bandits, yes, we had some already. Do me a favor, make sure those boys don't get themselves killed fighting them. We need work hands.

[Chevaleresse]

"Cawallader, thank you. Or Lady Gawen, if my family's name continues to escape you. As for whether you're a better fit, well, I would hesitate to make that assumption, but it's not as if my fighting precludes yours."

[Haspen]

"Hmph. Then we will prove it to you, Lady Cawallander. Just watch."

[Zetaark]

"Very well, I'll see to it that they are careful, or get them out of trouble if need be," she responds before heading back towards Gawen, who seems to have gotten involved with someone.

"Gawen did you get into a fight with someone else now of all times?"

: "The House is well-protected, but let's not waste time fighting among ourselves. We must go to the aid of the scholars."

Claude had apparently managed to deal with his frustration by training with the heavy blade the team had gained after defeating Ghazi. It wasn't hard to see him training during their stops at villages, swinging that sword around like he really wanted to cut something in half with it.

"Making new friends, Captain?" he asked as he approached the scene of the friendly conversation, polished steel blade resting heavily over one shoulder.

Move to I-5.

[Chevaleresse]

"Why do you always assume I've gotten into a fight? It's as if you're my mother and not my servant. I can match words with a man without being in a fight with him."

[Zetaark]

"Well I am supposed to keep you out of trouble. And are you really going to tell me that things haven't escalated in the past?" she huffs before looking towards the bandits.


"No matter. For now, let's just deal with the bandits, and go from there, alright?"

[Chevaleresse]

"Past incidents are not the present."
