"All mounted. We either use the gates as a chokepoint or they'll use their mobility against us." he commented while looking at the enemies.


A bunch of riders with a bunch of bows and lances. It truly wasn't Claude's day. Still... He looked at the enemies, then at Lavinia.

"I'm still not letting you win."

Lysander found himself taking an involuntary step back. Despite his brave words about fighting, when faced with an actual enemy he was still hesitant. There weren't any pirates there. That was one of the benefits of traveling inland. Less of a risk of running into that sort of sun. But still...

Amberly took considerably more than one step back, but she wasn't fleeing just yet. If she had wanted to run, she should have taken Lysander up on his advice to find another group to travel with. Too late for that now.

Marlow quietly slips out, towards the nearby home - things were going to get violent soon and well, probably best for them to lock their doors.

Claude noticed Ethan wasn't retreating just yet and stood his ground as well, taking a step back and gripping his sword tightly. There was no way in hell he was going to retreat until his boss had decided it was time to.

Maria felt comfortable. Sure, this wasn't what she thought she signed up for, but it was easy enough for her to hop on Ophia when the other riders came out. Plus, they were riders. There was no magic, and she knew horses like the back of her hand. For now, she stayed in place, ready to ride wherever needed on a moments notice.
