Felix asks again for whiskey, not this alcohol junk He nods in thanks and takes a sip, idly waiting for the conversation to pick up again.

"So if we need to keep the investigation morally upright, how do you propose we proceed?"

"Surveillance is a slippery slope and possibly more trouble than it's worth. Let's be careful about that one, but keep it on the table."

"Reducing the dispossessed would help, but what's your plan to do it, Rep. Dex?"

The human adjusts his glasses. "Always the one to mediate, representative Leena."

"Is mediating not what we came here to do, Rep. Myrrh?"

[SOLDIER First]

"Maybe not exactly between us, Leena." Felix says, taking another sip of his drink. "But definitely so."

[Sl4cker]

"At times conflict is unavoidable."

"And yet, here is where we avoid it. I don't think giving up is the style of anyone present."

[Sl4cker]

The bespectacled human grumbles uncomfortably, relaxing slightly into his seat at the counter. "I suppose not."

[wolfchild]

"It definitely is not mine."

Tintaglia emphasizes this point by lightly thumping the table with a fist.

Melie had been regretting ordering a tall glass of beer. He didn't like beer. Actually, he didn't like most alcohlic beverages in general. He does drink mead, like his kin, but as far as he's concerned honey belongs more in food than in a glass. Trying to play the image of his clan and take a hearty chug of the glass (not that anyone here would appreciate him being manly), Melie tried to conceal his eyes watering from the (actually, kind of mild) taste washing down his throat.

"Let me be level with you. I did suggest infiltratin', but there another way. The Bjorning way. We set them up. Come up with bait -hopefully the baits are competent enough to save themselves- and then make the Phosphor take it. You could set up a juicy target for the Phosphor, and assuming you don't f- mess up with intelligence leaks, we swoop down and arrest a buncha terrorists when they realize that their high value targets are actually your... uh, templars?"

"That would work against a conventional army, but the problem with terrorists is that they generally target things like large gatherings of innocents. Or, well, politically important targets, such as this Café. Is there even a juicier target than ourselves?"

[wolfchild]

"Well, that works out then does it not? Meile did say that the bait should be able to defend themselves."

"Again, not a conventional army. They won't come holding guns yelling 'we're the terrorists', but rather try to get past the hopefully comprehensive security this Café has, masquerading as regular patrons. If they get close enough, it doesn't matter whether we're warriors or not, which I'm not."
