Elaine quietly nods at Freyja, keeping her head down.

Freyja smiles, lightly bumping Elaine with her shoulder.

Lillian... sorta just idly stayed where most of the group was. She wasn't really focused on such things, more on how in the heck did she get here. The last couple days felt like a blur, and here she was. And then all those things happened in the throne room and they said she'd be given some sort of gift and what do you ask of royalty, she didn't want to seem greedy because Ma had told her being greedy was a bad thing but she didn't want to insult him by asking for too little and aaaaaaargh. To put it more simply - Lillian was overwhelmed and sorta generally confused.

Elaine instinctively shies away from the contact. It seems she's not one for personal contact with....people in general.

Attakul noticed the two girls. One knowing each other's name. Really she felt the girl might know the other well and then her mind took flight! She ran with what her mind told her to spout and she hoped it was a nice weave.

"Well you look like you two have a history what's your story. Oh. Oh! OH! It it a forbidden love! Saucy and worthy of a long romance Novel please do tell such a grand marvelous backstory of you two for I am certain it will be glorious. Also. it is Attakul.

"If I still had my other arm, I would be palming my face right now."

Elaine refuses to grace that with a response. Or indeed with anything aside from her usual 'bowed-head to keep her face hidden under her hood' schtick.

Freyja blushed as Attakul spoke up, looking to the bird female, seeming a little caught off-guard.
"Eh... no, no we're not. We're new friends at best, I suppose...?"

The bird gives a wink to Freyja giving a small chuckle their beak shut tight relaxed now and friendly looking holding out their wing and its finger's for a handshake.

"Well alright then no problemo with me either way. It's nice to meet you my stalwart companion miss?"

Her other hand doing a small waving motion her "eyebrow" moving up questioningly eyes amused and slightly excited though if one was particularly good at bird facial expressions they could see that perhaps they were a bit nervous.

Freyja extends her hand, and shakes the wing.
"Nice to meet you... again, I think. Apologies, it's been a long day. I am Freyja."

Freyja? That is a nice name. Attakul..kinda liked it. For a moment something seemingly gripped them something flashing across their face..sadness? Anger? Perhaps? Something was wrong for a moment clearly and something troubled them.

But then she gave a chuckle mirthless fake sounding. Eye's slightly glazed before they spoke.

"That is a nice name. Yeah. It has been I would suppose. Some thu-Hooligan's tried to accost me earlier in the day as well tried to kidnap me and everything was simply f-Awful"

Freyja frowns.
"Were they arrested? The thugs?"

Blinking quietly. They didn't know.

"One met its end at me and brave comrades combined arms. The other two fled and surely were captured with the wounds they had sustained and my comrade having seen their faces and almost assuredly reporting them!"

Attakul, of course, couldn't let fryeja know that was their first victory. That would be embarrassing humiliating and quite frankly they tried to deny it themselves.

She nods slowly, then smiles.
"Who fought alongside you? Maybe they know. If they haven't been reported, maybe we can see about doing something about them."

[SOLDIER First]

"I'll go pound them for you." Completely serious.
