Freyja chuckles.

"Ah, yes. I hear political enemies are the biggest threat out in the wastes."

"You know what I'm getting at, smartass."
Freyja narrows her eyes.

[SOLDIER First]

"Of course I do, half-pint. You example was just pointless, because none of us have had our entire family branded as traitors."

[Projeck37]

"Wrongfully so, I will point out. I knew my father. He was no murderer... but this is beside the point. I was stating I understand how dangerous the world is."

[SOLDIER First]

"...if you say so."

Elaine merely shifts uncomfortably in response to that, as if there is something she'd like to say, but feels compelled to remain silent about.

"Something bothering you, Elaine?"

"Not at all.....it's just.....well....we can hope for somewhere safe, right?"

"There are certainly safer places. Ones home, being some place that is considered safe."
