Elaine mutters a quick "Thank you" to the bartender, clasping the mug delicately with both hands. Her head turns towards Geraint.
"You.....did not need to do that."

"And you didn't need to give me your drinks."

Tabitha stands up and downs her next three, "The lassy tapped out a'fore it even got good! Tobias, How's me title? Still got her?" "Sit down before I cut you off. I'll call the time when it's ready." Tabitha quickly sits down, getting her next drink and drinking it slower this time.

Agilulf downs his 25th mug but upon getting the 26th and smelling it he grimaces and sets it back down.
"Yeah... you win."

"Still....."
A pause.
".....thank you."

[Sanure]

Tobias waits before calling the time, Making Tabitha grimace before calling the contest, "And that ends the queen's challenge! coming in first place is Tabitha Fulgnis, in second is the gentleman beside her. In third place is Freyja." Tabitha shoots back up in victory, "Titlesh still mine! N'body can dethrone the queen of the drink!" Tobias just facepalms, "As per custom, the prize is Tabitha's choosing of either free drinks for a year, or the betting pool for the contest, which stands at about 200 gold coins, poor bastards who thought they could beat the queen."
"Gimme the free booze! Why else would I come 'ere ta drink?" Though she appeared only lightly buzzed, Tabitha is definitely drunk, "Fine. Gold goes to the tavern then to pay for those drinks."

[SOLDIER First]

"Any time," he says, and pats Elaine heavily on the shoulder. The man's words remain staunchly unslurred.

Agilulf vacated the tavern before time was called, reentering soon after wiping his mouth on his sleeve.

Tabitha moves away from the bar and walking up the stairs, "How about we settle that thing from last year?"

"Eh...?"
Freyja seems disoriented, some vomit occupying a space next to a plant.

With nothing better to do, Agilulf heads up as well. At the very least he would go to his room AND check on Freyja at the same time.

Tabitha giggles and gets up close to Freyja, "Ye know, about staying in Esbellern. I could find you a place. Or we could just repeat last year." Tabitha smiles at Freyja.

When Agilulf gets up to the second floor, he would see Tabitha just about hugging on Freyja.

"Orite... I'unno boutit, y'knowot hap'n'd to my family. I'ota av'ng em."
Freyja sways as she stands. She starts sloppily handling the straps on her armor.
"Arm'r... 'evy..."

Tabitha giggles, noticing Agilulf, "Be a gent and 'elp a few lasses with their armors."

"Need... sleep..."

"Yer nackered Freya. Ya ain't gonna avenge anyone in yer state."
The observant among them would note that Agilulf's accent has changed. Freyja would however not be too surprised as that happens when he drinks. He leans on a wall nearby as Tabitha speaks before pushing himself off.
"No need ta ask me twice, lets get yas inta a room, eh?"
