Can you draw the glyphs? Perhaps one of us can read them.

Come to think of it, will images even be transmitted through this scroll network or can it only handle text?

I won't doubt it can handle images, it would need to be to handle text after all, it would take more effort to EXCLUDE images, you just need a way to SEND the images. Drawing should work with something smaller.

Yeah. Meant to use it on that staff from the Hellsmouth, since there was clearly some demonic magic involved.

I don't know the guy's name, but last I saw, he was hanging around in Riverden's market. Left a little while after I purchased the scroll, but he had a wagon made of darker wood, if that'll help you find him.


Yeah, not much we can do without a look at the glyphs. If you can't draw them, a general idea of the styling might help us figure out what they are.

Anyone know how to send blight spells through one of these? Or contact specific scrolls? The spellsharing implemention on here is really something else, you know. And can you even encrypt things?

I mean, I'd really be using the unbreakable adamantine tablets of destiny for this sort of thing, but some apparently some idiot magical being named Arctor or something tried throwing one at an immovable object with an unstoppable force a few hundred years back. Pesky immortals, won't be sorry to see the back of them next time a deity gets paranoid...

Ah, sorry. Anyhow, There was this faintly carved riddle in old common that basically just said the password is (1,2,3). So yeah. I'll draw the runes, see if anyone can identify them. Ignore the 1,2,3 above the runes, those are just there to show them apart.

Okay, time to see how badly I got bilked last night. I still have no idea what I was thinking when I bought this thing. Probobly just some random scroll he scrounged up somwhere...

Anyway, is anybody here who happens to be looking for some competent armed help? I've been working for some merchant caravan as a guard for awhile now, but it's starting to become obvious that these guys are some sort of criminal operation, and I want to get as far away as possible before the town guard catches on. Plus, the pay is pretty terrible.

These runes look rather familiar to me - they might be Eopah runes. Their kind raised me as my mother died before my birth. I've never learnt to read their runes though, and they disappeared in the last Celestial Flare. I won't be of any more help here.

Also, er... I'm not sure if those are the same glyphs. They look rather similar, but just seem different.

I think that the first rune might be 1, and the second rune is 3. But I'm really not certain; if I were you I'd hide behind anything relatively solid that you can before triggering the door mechanism.
