Tremble, foolish mortals! It is I, Tenebrannomet, corrupter of flesh, twister of minds, burner of souls.

Ay, tremble, as my words burn into the rock before your eyes... know indeed that they could have been seared into the charred bones of your loved ones. Can you sense it yet? The blight creeping over the fragile greens of Mosstolk? The withering sickness that shall fall on the plants of these elves, turning a once bounteous land into a barren plain and driving the inhabitants into the infernal factories of Belshevet!

The curse sent through this very message is a mere hint of my true powers. Face me and die, you who call yourselves "adventurers"... your charms will not save you, Cryll, nor your prayers, Vorgen, nor will Octavia's dainty spear fend off your coming immolation...

No problem, mate, be there in 30 minutes. Necroman had some 7-league boots. :)
I guess the elves didn't give you directions, because you're still not here. How about I fly out to Mount Kiahr's crater, so we can meet there instead without any interference from those pests?
Hmn? Ah, sorry mate, I forgot. Be there in a blink.

Hello? Is anyone receiving this? My assistant brought me this scroll earlier and said it was "having a conversation with itself.", but I was too busy to look into it.

It's a communication scroll. I'm not sure why everyone is finally finding the things after a good five decades.

Thank you again for the new scroll, Acter. I apologize for not asking it when you were here, but is there any way I can repay you for this?

... Wait a second. Does that thing want to enslave the elves? Good riddance.

No need for payment, Fel. Just call me up if there's things that need doing.

It seems like this was among my blank scrolls for a while now, I guess it should say something about how I like to keep up my supply that I hadn't reached one until now.

Why, the only reason I had found it when I did is because I had my assistant, Hyde, taking inventory in the back. You see we had a robbery earlier this week, one that was definitely planned as they had anti-gargoyle measures ready.

Oof, sorry, where are my manners. My name is Charles Gallagher, I'm an artificer enchanter and alchemist extraordinaire.

:D A fellow artificer! It's not often I get to talk with others of the profession. What projects have you been working on recently? I've been testing out my newest airship model.
It... well, it wasn't very air-worthy. I don't think the harpies like me.

Well, if we're doing introductions...

The name's Lavender Grail. I'm a wizard...sort of. I spend more time reading and collecting books than learning spells from them, to be honest.

Hmm, maybe it''s just the harpies in your area. The ones over here around Steeldenn are rather friendly. Hyde likes to chat with them when they perch at the top of my tower.

As for my projects, well currently I'm working on a few small things, automatic sorting systems and the like. The main difficulty is providing it with enough intelligence to do its job without accidentally creating life. Though I have been putting more time into the towers defensive systems recently with the threats of a siege from a nearby Orc clan.

Darian Cronley here. Newbie adventurer. Anyhow, I went down the passage, and, uh... actually ran into a trap. Tripped an arrow trap! Heh, if I was any taller... would've gone right into my head. From then on, I was a lot more careful, and even managed to kill a big spider! Easily, size of a dog. Anyhow, I'm in this big empty chamber, and there's this orc-sized door with a combination lock on it. The variables are weird glyphs, ho idea what they mean. And as if it couldn't get any better, right in front of the door, where you put in the code, there's a skeleton with a load of arrows sticking out of it.

Hmm, try observing the room around you. There's likely to be some sort of hints. Most dungeons with puzzles have them. Unless of course it's owned by an active dark lord or something of the sort, then they may decide to just make themselves remember the code instead of put it somewhere.
