As the Goons arrive at the boats, they are greeted by the jeering parrot, who poops in the Serious Goon's face. He growls at this and shouts, "We need to make sure our boat isn't sabotaged!"

Goons select right boat: Roll twice take lower.
Results: 5 5

The silent Goon inspects boat 6. "This one looks good," he reports.

As everyone clambers in, the grabby Goon is still trying to shoot the parrot.

The bullet wings the parrot, sending it crashing to the ground. The bullet continues onward, however.

It hits the lifeboat release lever.

Verdict: Only the Silent Goon

"Wait... NO!" says the Silent Goon, as he plummets down to the ocean in a lifeboat with Jacob. The other five lifeboats fall alongside him. Four of them sink, and one washes away into the wake of the Sousa, still empty.

The Serious Goon and Brainy Goon look at each other. Serious picks up the injured parrot, holding it tightly. "There's other lifeboats," Brainy says. "We should go for them"

Quite shortly, the Goons and Fansworth's group will cross paths. Does the Parrot want to do anything before then?

The parrot leaps out of the Goon’s grasp and hobbles to the side. The Goons shoot it.

The other goes straight through it, splattering it on the deck and continuing on to the boat.

It doesn’t hit the boat at all. Jacob, along with the Silent Goon, row away.

Celling, Fansworth, and David continue running down the deck. Two goons remain. We’re just going to skip ahead now and forget the RTD segment.

A: Charge! Find and apprehend them as fast as possible!
B: Ambush! Find a place, wait for them to pass, and don’t let them get a shot off in return!
C: Hide! Avoid confrontation and keep moving around the ship.
D: Truce! Since we’re both trapped here, open negotiations with the Goons
E: We’re done here. Have David teleport us off.

Note that any drastic change in strategy will probably attract David’s notice.

“Captain?” a sailor said. “The John Philip Sousa is launching lifeboats.”

Erin Quill, Enir Nest, and Captain William Corvis watch as a set of lifeboats falls from one side of the ship on the horizon. It shows no signs of slowing down, and has still not responded to hails.

“There,” Corvis calls after another few minutes. “The other side’s launching them as well.”

Nest asks, “Can you tell who’s in them?”

The sailor holding a spyglass shakes his head. “Too far… wait, I think most of them are empty. There’s one on the right that might have people in it.”

What do you do?

A: “That must be the rebels getting away! Shoot it!”
B: “Bring us closer and try to get a good look at that lifeboat. Pursue if necessary.”
C: “Ignore the boat, pull us alongside the ship.”
D: Something else…
