The parrot jinxes and weaves to avoid the bullets.

...perhaps a little too much. It swerves too far to the water side, and slams into the racks holding up the lifeboats, giving itself a 5th concussion and FLUMPing into the lifeboats.

When it comes to, it realizes that the Goons are somewhat closer. And that it's lying on its side on the bottom of a lifeboat.

2. Peck the lifeboat to put a hole in it and then use some nearby rope or something (because there’d be some on/near a lifeboat) to port into hammerspace, then come back out at the top-right area and make a loud raspberry at the Goons.

The Amazing Talking Parrot carefully flips right-side-up and chews a hole in the bottom of the boat.

He then flies up, aiming around one of the thick ropes holding the boat up. Misjudging slightly, he slams into it, giving himself a 6th concussion, but manages to retain enough presence of mind to-

-jump into the infinite, featureless white void of Hammerspace. His headache quickly subsiding, he picks an exit position and dives.

The parrot slams out of an empty trash bin on the top-right of the diagram (bottom-left of the boat). Turning the corner, he races rapidly up the ship's length, blowing raspberries all the way. He finally catches up to...

...Fansworth, who turns around with mild annoyance at the fact that the Parrot's coming up behind him. Oh dear. It seems that in your enthusiasm to insult the rebels, you've gone to the wrong side of the boat!

At this point both Fansworth and the Goons are near lifeboats... on opposite sides of the ship.

What does Fansworth do?

A: Grab a lifeboat and get off the ship!
B: Sabotage these lifeboats and stay on the ship.
C: Leave these lifeboats unbroken, stay on the ship.

What does the parrot do? If Fansworth leaves, it can leave with him, or stay.

There's a simple and easy way to sabotage lifeboats, of course.

Fansworth pulls the release lever and watches as the lifeboats fall away, one after the other, crashing into the ocean in a series of shloomps. The parrot flies back down the ship.

"Who's to say the rebel can be trusted?" asks the hungry Goon (who is also the actual inside man). "We get this mission from the Mittani, to rescue this random enemy of the state if he dies. Why are we trusting this guy?"

"Yeah, that's exactly what an inside man would say," says the grabby Goon.

The brainy Goon thinks for a moment. "You know, accusing people for no reason and invoking Wine In Front Of Me are easy tells for a scum."

"What's with the big words?" asks the serious Goon. "Sounds like someone from the Republic."

The silent Goon gestures at the hungry Goon. "I don't know. He looked surprised."

"That's your logic?" asks the hungry Goon. "Everyone's surprised, man! Look, I don't know why we're even believing this bird!"
