You manage to slide the rubber band off your wings as well as loosening the one around your mouth and getting your right foot free.

The guards do not notice. Instead, they sling you roughly into the cage and lock the door. For good measure, they add a padlock too. They carry you toward Padelheb's room.

Just when you think things couldn't get worse, that stupid perch swings again and gives you a 3rd concussion.

Quantum teleport. Doesn't need to be far, just to a location outside the cage (and away from Padel) where we won't get another concussion (though "not another concussion" is of lower priority than the other two).

It works.

Astonishingly enough.

You can't directly teleport to Quill's cell, though, since Hammerspace has a few important rules. You can only exit from behind something.

So you jump to behind a trash can in a hallway of the same prison block as Quill. The trash can is the stationary metal kind, and you're wedged behind it.

You're in the middle of a corridor. To your left and front there's a stairs. To the right and back there are a row of cells. To either side of you is a guard.

They haven't noticed you yet.

[6] - Gone horribly right

You fly above the head of the right guard, and it works. He looks up at you, obviously distracted.

However, you look at the guard as well... and promptly hit your head on the low prison ceiling.

You get a 4th concussion and fall to the ground.

The right guard looks up, started. "How did a bird get in here?"

The left guard shrugs. "Want to go set it free?" he asks.
