I was thinking more of the lines of finding out rebel hometowns and placing bombs there. Holding their loved ones hostage. Not blow up everything.

My counter for wormhole failure is that we construct a well fortified underground city base. Maybe in a mountain and have personal and ourselves there. Also clone tanks to chur our our forces to take the world by storm. That and invest in better weapons while entertaining the masses, somehow. And use cloning to make their lives better too. Food and donor tissue.

Hey GM, if all our current  "heros" die will it end the game? I hope not, this has been so much fun:

I double doubt it.

Rebels will always arise, besides that, we ONLY conquered half of the world, what kind of overlord would satisfy with that?

The apathetic "I'll let my minims dispose of this problem" kind?

They won't die.

Plot armor, remember?

I haven't had any time to update this, but that does NOT mean we're going on hiatus - updates are just going to be much less often, but still regular.

So, is this now dead?

THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS NOT DEAD.

So, I didn't think we got any suggestions past discussion about where this all is. So I'll just take your actions as "wait".

Eldin is held until storms clear out. Guards wait until Andrew gets the crystal and swims within range.

The guards stand at the edge. When he gets the crystal, the anomaly vanishes and he swims into sniping range.

Spoiler: Do you hit him? (click to show/hide)

Your bullets go wild… somehow. Andrew holds the crystal over his head as he paddles towards shore.

Suddenly it glows.

A massive ocean wave crashes into the shore, knocking over all the guards and sending Andrew hurtling onto the beach.

What now?

A: SHOOT HIM!!!
B: Allow him to escape then follow him
C: Turn the dogs on him
D: Scan the area for anyone who might be controlling the crystal

Spoiler: Dice (click to show/hide)

I think we're at a net +2 science and +2 military, correct?

You spot the girl on top of a tree, at the edge of the forest. She's holding the controller mechanism.

As you watch, she gives it a twist, and Andrew - who had been hurtling towards the trees - begins to fly upwards. Andantesite doesn't affect itself, so the crystal is weighing him down.

What do you do?

Dogs were already chasing him right?

Dogs knock the girl out of that tree (i know that dogs usually fail on these, but these aren't normal dogs)

The rest, SHOOT, aim at the crystal as it might be redirecting shots (and there is a chance of him being hurt in the process of redirecting shots) if the guns don't work throw rocks don't matter

B, A feels more appropriate from my point of view, after all without the crystal in Poseidon of the rebels the fact that they can control it becomes less of an issue.
