How about we tell David the following:
"Well, consider when the parrot shows up. It's all in the timing, you see."

And then we shoot the traitor quite un-climactically.

+1 to this, and how about we finally get the damn report on Azure City we’ve been trying to get this whole time?

Glass is, as usual, correct.
Yep, as ever, I bestow upon Glass the expected +1
I'm gonna say we go with whatever Glass's idea is.

Welcome to SPAMOVERLORD! And yes, we're taking this suggestion.

"Well," says Celling, looking at David, "consider when the Parrot shows up. It's all in the timing, you see."

David scrunches his face thoughtfully. "That... doesn't make any sense. Are you saying-"

BLAM! Celling shoots Iridium and he collapses to the floor, dead. "Never mind that, David, we have bigger fish to fry." He grabs the parrot and looks around for a valid Hammerspace entry point. Finally, he storms into the bathroom and holds the parrot by the feet over a towel rack.

"GET THAT AZURE CITY REPORT THIS TIME!" he shouts, before dropping the parrot. It falls past the rod and silently jumps to Hammerspace.

Celling steps out of the bathroom, sans parrot. "Where's the parrot?" David asks.

Celling waves his hands vaguely. "More importantly, where is this train going?"

Meanwhile, Fansworth's team has commandeered the cargo ship John Philip Sousa for the transport of actual Jacob Eldin, who has been disguised as a random detained soldier. There are still some decisions to be made.

Where are we going to put Jacob?

A: Detain him on the bridge; that way Fansworth can watch him and the helm at the same time, but if he escapes, he's on the bridge (but so are all the soldiers)
B: Fashion a brig out of one of the containers and guard him there; Fansworth will not personally be guarding him, but he will be far from anything important.
C: Detain him in a container and have Fansworth standing there to oversee security measures; this means that he won't be able to deal with the helm, however.

Is it necessary to keep up the ruse that Jacob is a soldier detained on disciplinary grounds?

A: Yes; keep all the other "detained" soldiers tied up with him.
B: No; only tie up Jacob.
C: Solve this some other way.

Where shall we transport Jacob?

A: To Antarctica, the capital, and where Erin Quill is.
B: To Argentina, where the other rebels are being held.
C: Somewhere else.

Anything else we should be doing to secure this guy?

Write whatever you think of.

Why can’t he be stored with the other rebels?

I meant a character trope, the old "smart one" David, changed side and now is on our side, the new one we capture and was in the miletary base last time I remember.

Oh, I thought you called me smart one to be sarcastic about me not knowing much, sorry.

A,B,B but chain each of his limbs to a different console none of which is within his (chained-up) reach. He's not immobile, just incapable of moving far enough from any of the consoles to reach the chains. Radio to the Navy to provide a faster vessel (a destroyer or comparable vessel type would work great) for us to transfer to en-route.

On the way, explain to him what has happened due to the rebellion he's decided to support, and the casualties that would've been caused by this "plan" of theirs.

You have chosen ABB

Fansworth steps onto the bridge of the John Philip Sousa. The remaining soldiers, some tied up, follow him.

Fansworth turns to face the soldiers. He gestures at the crowd of decoys. "You can all go free now, by the way. Make sure Jacob is the one tied up, and chain him to the consoles!"

Several of the soldiers bring up chains and handcuff Jacob to them. "Uh, which consoles?"

"All the consoles at once. And make sure that he can't reach any of them!" Fansworth answers. He flicks on the ship's radio and speaks into the microphone. "This is Fansworth. Get me the Guardian of the State, ASAP. Maximum security!"

A moment later, Guardian of the State Enir Nest's voice comes on over the speakers. "Yes, Fansworth?"

Fansworth leans in and raises his voice. "This is a secure channel. I repeat, THIS IS A SECURE CHANNEL. That means that if you are listening to this and your name is not Enir Nest, you are going to put the headset down and stop listening right now! I repeat, this is a secure channel, put your headset down and STOP LISTENING!"

There is a moment of silence at this display, then Nest says, "Alright, Fansworth, the line is secure. Please go on."

"We have captured the last remaining rebel, Jacob Eldin," Fansworth says.

Spoiler: Rolls (click to show/hide)

"We have commandeered the cargo vessel John Philip Sousa to escort Jacob to Argentina High Command," Fansworth continues. "Requesting a fast Navy ship to transfer him to."

"Really, Fansworth? Is a Navy deployment to escort one criminal truly necessary?"

"Yes, it's necessary," Fansworth answers. "Ask Erin Quill for this guy's record if you're not convinced. He's escaped from one ship already."

There is a long pause, punctuated by what sounds like Erin Quill shouting, "Yes, it's necessary!"

Finally, Nest gets back on the line. "Alright, Fansworth, you've made your case. The Etna is being deployed to pick up Jacob."

"Excellent," Fansworth answers. "Intercept around the Cape and-"

"No," Nest cuts in. "You have successfully convinced me of the gravity of this situation, and I'm demanding that the Crown be immediately responsible for the interrogation and sentencing of the prisoner. You're going to meet up at the Falkland Islands to deliver the prisoner to Antarctica."

What do you do?

A: "Well, that's fine too."
B: Give a reason you're sending him to Argentina.
C: Something else…

A: Sweet, that solves one problem. We can rendezvous at the Falklands before returning to Argentina. I guess if Erin Quill can he'll travel to Argentina and we'll go with the boat to Antarctica, collect all the rebels, and have a little heart-to-heart chat.
