Comic Cards
You can find two basic cards to bring into battle, you can use duplicates. These determine your deck types.
Combat is 3 rounds always. Each new combat is another 3. Multiple enemies attacking simultaneously is one encounter.
You restock your basics each fight!
All card names are action words... Like you might see in a comic!!
POW - Impact - Basic (starter)
Bonus: If a target is KOd, draw another card.
DODGE - Reflex - Basic (starter)
Effect: Prevent one attack from a random enemy.
Bonus: If one enemy attacks, win the round and draw a card.
SLICE - Sharp - Basic
Effect: Scary!
Bonus: Draw a card if an opponent flees.
CRUNCH - Sharp - Basic
Effect: Stun one target. Scary!
Bonus: If target is KOd, scary!
ZAP - Electric - Basic
Effect: Stun one target. Can't play ZAP next turn.
Bonus: Draw a card.
Others must be drawn or acquired mid-fight.
SLAM - Impact
Bonus: Opponent can't act next round.
CRASH - Impact
Effect: Collateral Damage. Scary!
Bonus: Random, effected by round and location.
BLOCK - Reflex
Effect: If you haven't lost a round, ignore 2 attacks.
Bonus: Draw a card.
Advanced
You can draw instead of play a card. (Can't win the round, can tie)
Play a card in bold font to increase its' power, but remove its' bonus.
Do stuff related to your fighting style stooopud (+1)
You might draw from either deck, no matter which card type had a draw ability.
Play a card with extra "!" if you want to attract attention.
Play a card in italic to try to catch an opponent of guard. (risky if doesn't make sense)
