Personality: Elaine is very quiet, keeping to herself and avoiding long conversations, except with those she opens up to. She is very reserved and polite, referring to others with honorifics, whether they are lords or commoners. If she feels threatened, she shies away from the offender, attempting to steer clear of them, and she will attempt to leave the vicinity of anyone attempting to pry into her history. Despite this, she is curious and kind, often stopping to help others in her own little way. She prefers to follow rather than lead, with very little apparent will to show off; when pressed or when those she cares about are endangered, however, she may make impressive shows of will to stand her ground and protect those she holds most dear.
Appearance: Elaine is a willowy, lithe woman, standing around 5'5", appearing in her early twenties. Her skin is pale, almost porcelain, and her eyes are a deep lilac colour. Her hair is silver, almost white, with a bluish tinge, lending an ethereal air to her. Her dress is iridescent, cloaked in a rough-cut pelt of an unknown animal with dark fur, seeming to shimmer where she moves and the qualities of which transfer onto the skins of the creatures she transforms into, whether with shimmering scales or white fur and feathers. The pelt has a leather hood sewn onto it, for her to keep her head concealed and warm in the cold Valkan winters; however, she never seems to be inconvenienced by the cold or heat. Elaine seems beautiful, in the ethereal, mysterious sense of a shrine maiden rather than the vivacious sense of a noblewoman, but there seems to be a hint of the unnatural about her.

Form of the Beast: Elaine summons a force from within herself, undergoing a painful transformation as her body warps and enlarges to assume the form of a powerful monster. Forces Elaine to assume the form of a hulking, humanoid, beast-like abomination. Costs 1 Mana + 2 HP to transform. Elaine may transform instantly if untransformed and attack on the same turn; untransforming is free but consumes her turn. The resulting abomination must be entirely terrestrial; she cannot transform into flight-capable or aquatic forms using this. The transformation drains 1 Mana block per turn Elaine remains transformed; if she runs out of mana, she cannot transform again until she regains at least 2 Mana blocks.
