Your about to mix the eccense into the ink, when you recall that's not possible. Although they appear physical and can be held and stored in a physical manner, thanks to metaphysics, they don't ACTUALY have physical forms that can be destroyed or manipulated. Even if you COULD do it, your not sure the eccense would remain useable for the ritual itself, and once again, you would be dead because you can't break down anything else and still have the energy needed for the ritual.

You will have to pick Something actualy physical in nature. Like your blood, or some grass, or some water, or literally anything in the area that is not an an essence.
