We could use the nat effort resource for something else, and if all else fails, we an put in a revision or even a design to put the spitters in their own rules, that would let them redeploy as fast as we want. It wouldn't be that much of a problem, I wouldn't think. The strategic mobility is trumped by the fact that we can have them on all fronts simultaneously, which I doubt they can with their mages.

The Revencher is not fit for deployement right now, so we can't use it for something else.

When we'll need to deploy new nat effort (like when actually start a winnable siege) we can revise spitters. Doing stuff in advantage is one of our problems.

40 Spitters  inflict [ranged] 7 skirmishers, 1 bowmen, 5 hoplites, 5 cavalry, 86 spearmen, 1037 slaves
When attacking
  14 skirmishers   0.6%
  2 bowmen         0.2%
  29 hoplites        1.4%
  10 cavalry         0.4%
  3 ballistae         0.1%
  4 apprentices    0.4%
  221 spearmen   10%
  1833 slaves       86.6%


8 Hunters inflict [charge] 3 spearmen, 26 slaves
When attacking
  7 skirmishers    0.7%
  1 bowmen        0.1%
  24 hoplites       2.4%
  5 cavalry          0.5%
  3 ballistae        0.3%
  4 apprentices    0.4%
  135 spearmen   13.8%
  796 slaves        81%

Seems to check out.

However, one important note, the low rate of Slave killing here is because the SPitters thinned them out. Based on other fronts, you get other info.

Third Front : 7 hunters kill 1 spearmen, 24 slaves

So, on average 3.4 Slaves and 0.25 Spearman per Hunter

On those fronts, the Hunter performed even better.

Segmented Chitin
Rather then a haphazard patchwork the hunter now has alternating bands of flexible chitin which incorporates biological springs and heavy solderer chitin. This gives them far better maneuverability,  They can bend their body around almost 90 degrees now and have a far tighter turning radius.

Alright, so, Strongpoint hates this idea, but we might want to save a die for the strategy phase, in order to redistribute some troops to front 3. We're close to wiping them out on that front, and if we do, we ignore the fort- even if they upgrade it.

Edit: Nevermind, Iituem changed his mind. We don't get to ignore the fort. Because it would give us an advantage, apparently.

On a side note, I disliked Strongpoint's revision based on fluff reasons. I want to insects, not insect shaped mammals.

High intensity muscles Designed for use on the Hunter, these adapted muscles have a far bigger and better developped mitochondria than can be expected in normal muscle tissue. In addition, they're extensively tracheated. Movement of the muscle changes air flow of the trachea, resulting in very effective transfer of air trought the muscle tissue.

The goals are a generic improvement on explosive muscles. Freater efficiency through advanced mitochondria, greater power through better aereation, and suchlike. The same as Strongpoint's original revision.
