"Well if you want to know. At first i was moving through the darkness when the floor collapsed under me, i was slowly falling for good minutes, then i fell into a warm water and i felt like it was choking me, i tried getting out of the water but there was just no surface only more water, then i saw the thing, its eyes were filled with fierce intellect, yet they still were feral, it was under me, circling me, stalking even, and when it growled i could have felt vibrations coming through me, it felt like i was being tested, like it was looking for weakness, just before it pounced me i was able to "wake up"."

"Hmm... strange, maybe some other kind of psionic... something here? It's hard to tell without more information, but I'd definitely avoid doing anything like that again until we're sure we're secure."

"If you are sure that the water-like substance was not cerebrospinal fluid, very well. I do not know anything about psionics, so I cannot speak to that."

Vigil nods in agreement. “We should finish looking around. Make sure there is. I thing else by that physic thingabob.”

There wasn't a lot left of the ruined Manor, no upper stories to explore, no book cases, no furniture, and that bob that was picked up earlier may have once been a part of a nailclipper for all you know.

There may have been a garden at one point but you wouldn't be able to tell either way with all the snow outside.

"We look for a cellar first. If we don't find anything... then I suppose we'll have to risk it."

"If we don't find anything else, we should just go home. We're scouts in all this, right? Let the people who actually clear and build stuff deal with whatever it is.
We don't need to fucking risk someone over curiosity."

A long hum could be heard over the radio, as Vigil mused over options.
“Everybody, weapons out. If I catch even one of you without a hand on something to attack anything that pops out, or, at least two people guarding you, we are turning back. Something feels wrong, and I rather not flame responsibility for it.”
After saying that, he started stomping on the floor. Well, not so much stomping and stepping really really hard. After every two steps, he checks his sensors for a possible echo against something wet.

Every stomp you took on the stone brick floor sounded hollow.

“Dahn, have any explosives? Also, everybody out of this building. Now.  Kaito, I guess you are with me on the breach team. And, yes, I do mean breach. As in, we are breaching the floor, which is completely hollow.”

"Right you do that, just try not to collapse the whole building down"
