"You were sent with 600 rounds each." he said. "And it looks like you're still carrying all of them."

"So we just stand here with our thumbs up our asses waiting for the ammo truck? I think not. We should blow off some of our current supply so we have less creatures in our way and less to carry."

[Bill Chompski]

"Yeah." Danh says, annoyed, folding his arms.
"And I'm askin' for more ammo, cause it looks like we might need more than six-hundred rounds each." The large man continues, glaring a little bit. "And I could add that one of them is a dumbass who insists on using a bow and arrow, and another is usin' a gauss, which doesn't exactly have 'six-hundred rounds'."

"Well, it's only been a few minutes. Let's take a look over your suit log and see what happened."

Langdon walked over towards Danh and pulled a wire from a pad. He opened a flap of Danh's armor and plugged in, reading it. "You saw a spider." he said flatly.

"And then someone else scanned the caves. The whole system is a massive fucking hive." Danh continues.
"We even saw more peeking out at us from above."

((The maps should be in his logs. I sent it alongside my notes to everyone. To garentee that, if I do something stupid, the next team stood a better shot.))

"Well, I think your tools should be adequate, but if it will make you feel better, Mr. Loi, we'll send you through with a few more boxes of ammunition. I'll also authorize a laser turret - the board has been considering making them standard equipment to hold gaterooms. Head back though, we'll have it delivered through the gate in twenty minutes."

He withdrew his wires and closed the compartment. An engineer rechecked Danh's equipment and patted him hard on the shoulder while Dr. Carmine proceeded with gate activation.

"We don't even need the ammo supply so getting it was a waste, but I don't want people running off by themselves. That's how people get into trouble that other people have to dig them out of. Dahn decided on his own to head back, which is annoying enough. I'm not going to have you wandering off too."

[milo christiansen]

"I don't want to head out alone you idiot. I assumed at least one other combat specialist would have the guts to go too. Guess not. Sad lot you are. I thought we should have at least one heavy weapon for the main chamber, and you said I was overreacting, but now you all want to cower in here for the lack of one man."

If no one else decides to come along then go guard the door instead.

Mulling his new gear over for a moment, Danh decides that this is indeed enough, at least, for now.
"Thanks." He replies simply, heading back through the gate once it's ready.

Vigil finishes up examining the bug, and does something smart. . .  Throwing it though the gate before it closes.

The bug corpse was thrown through the gate and splats wetly against Danh's faceplate, startling not insignificant amount of people as something big and wet came through the gate at speed,

The turret gunners damn near sliced Danh in two had they been a little more trigger happy.

Yelling loudly, Danh smacks at his suit's helmet, quickly tearing and wiping away the majority of the bug chunks. When he finishes, he puts his hands on his knees, taking a shaky breath.
"Fuck me..." He mutters, before glancing back at everyone, and going back through the portal, ready to punch someone.

Vigil will, of course, defend himself, and trying to flip Danh and put him in a wrist lock, while complaining that he shouldn't be hit because he needs to do the science stuff, if he does attack.

Kaito folds his arms. "I'm not a coward for not wanting to split up for no reason. There is entirely no point in surging ahead while we're down one person, when we can take our time for him to return, and move out as one. And I will not be goaded into unnecessary action because you cannot be patient." He'd look back as Dahn came through. "Good to see you're back over here though Dahn, let's head out."
