Vigil managed to yank and throw the bugs attacking his sapling off easily, all of them. They make hissy noises at the team denying them their food and quickly scatters, burrowing back into the holes on the floor as Ricardo and Kaito chases them away with knife swings. Christian shot a few shots with his pistol at where they were, scaring the creatures underground.

Danh is already by the gate room entrance, and once he see's people coming, hurries into the room itself.

"Dahn! Get the laser ready, as soon as this plant is at the gate I want to light that hive up. There is no way I'm leaving this thing alone to build itself up."

Hurrying over to the laser, Danh stares at the thing, trying to figure out how to work it.

"Uhh..." Danh says, looking through the guide, then the turret.
"Fuck, why the hell isn't this pre-assembled?"

After a few minutes of work, getting confused with the wires and ports for a bit, Danh eventually gets it set up, frowning at the thing.

"Oh shit! I just thought of something! We need to send someone back to tell the eggheads to get the containment chambers spun up. I would hate for this stuff to die on us."
