Kaito realized they were under fire quickly, rushing forward and swinging his Gauss around to his hands as he slid into cover behind a large, solid boulder. Just in time, as laser fire scorched the other side of it. He'd rest the Gauss on the boulder, looking down the scope and seeing if he could follow the laser trails back to whoever was shooting. "Keep your heads down until we've seen our targets... and try not to take cover behind anything flammable."

There's a sharp shout as Danh is struck in his left shoulder, a bright beam of light penetrating his suit, and singing the skin beneath.
He leaps forward into the snow, crawling behind cover to briefly check over the wound.
"I'm hit." The man grunts, briefly poking his head out of cover to try to see just how many hostiles might be shooting. "Not bad, it's light..."

Vigil opens his mouth to reply to Frazz, but the sudden flashes of light cause him to do what any sane swordsman would do, when being fired on.
“Take cover!”

He looks for a large rock, hoping there is a bit of a snow bank nearby for any sneaky movements he could try to make.
“Stella! Kaito! Try to get a target count! Dahn! You and Ricardo are with me! We make sure anybody who gets close regrets it. Rest of you, cover fire! Frazz! Your on medical!”

"I hear you, ready." Danh replies, checking over his gun and grenades.

[Commando 60] Stella rolls behind a small tree, clutching her rifled . “Are we still within our timeframe?” She glances at Tina. “Are you able to determine if the lasers match Akras’s specifications?”

"With what? Snow? I ain't the one with the autodoc!"

Frazz rolls over to a more covetable position and fires into the trees

Frazz fires off a precise volley into the  area where the lasers are coming from.

The shots flew out into the night, their effects still unclear.

Tina ran a sensor scan, trying to find the source of the laser beams. She traced them back to exactly where you parked - they were the lasers from your snowmobiles. The camp was crawling with giant moths, chewing through wiring, pushing the sides of barrels, sweeping the lasers, seeming at once like excited puppies carrying a firework, and as if some intelligence were guiding them. A scattering of them lay dead, gunned down near one of the lasers, but more were crawling into their places. [Sensors 90]

[Commando 101] Tina, noticing the laser, turns then somersaults out of the way, before landing on her feet. She's still holding Priscilla's Sensor Pack, and carrying Priscilla over her shoulder, but ends up near a boulder, which she puts Priscilla down behind.
"B-but lasers... that's turrets. Why are turrets here? H-hey, I got the Autodoc!"
Tina marks the Autodoc that's on Priscilla (she swapped weapon-slot items with her). Which will let people see where it is, even through cover.

Then Tina points the Sensor Pack in the general direction of the laser fire.
[Scanning 90] The Sensor Pack shoots signal into the forest, with numerous tags appearing, before false positives are quickly filtered out.

"W-what? Moths? H... how?!"
This is most definitely a... bizarre occurrence.

“Tina, remember when I said to leave Priscilla with our stuff to guard it? Frazz, use her autodoc! Everyone fire on them. I am kinda useless in this situation.”
Vigil says as he just makes snowballs to try and scare some of the moths away.

Stella switches to her PDW. “We may need to distract them, given their numbers.” In the meantime, she’ll shoot at some near the lasers, perhaps striking a few. [Small arms 54]

"let's see if I can just scatter the things." Kaito said calmly, adjusting his aim to one of the outer moths, taking a moment... then firing.

"H-hey, moths don't... usually do this. And... they'd just eat-bite her apart."
Tina is crouched behind the rock.

Stella gunned down a few more of the moths.

Kaito lined up a shot from the Gauss, and fired past the moths. The wind whipped at them, pulling a few free and scattering them, but the bulk maintained their hold on the snowmobiles, hunkering low. [Gauss 86 vs Commando 84]

"Aw man! I didn't even sign up as a medic!"

Frazz runs over to Priscilla, yanks off the autodoc, and runs over to Danh

"Danh, hold still, quit squirming, and NO BITCHING!"

Frazz activates the doc with effortless precision, expertly applying the bandages and morphine as needed. Using an above-normally sized needle was probably an oversight
