Nexti grimaces as the Grimm began to bat at her, but the situation was still well within bounds that she could handle, especially because her partner and some of the other hunters were in the cave to a number that was actually superior to the Grimm. The beowolves mobbed towards her, hopping to get to those she was protecting, but she had no intent of allowing that eventuality. "Do not think you can pass!" she shouted.

Then, seeing as one of the Beowolves had provided an opening for her, Nexti decided to capitalize on it, raising both of her swords and sending them towards the Beowolf with a shout, putting in the effort to each blade as if she were making a single strike. It was a maneuver strenuous enough that she would have difficulty repeating it quickly, but she wouldn't let this opportunity go by unused.

Carnelian grit his teeth as he was bitten, and counterattacked in kind with the kind of lucky shot he didn't expect to repeat any time soon. "Punish their weakness!" Carnelian boomed, deftly swinging his recoilless gun in an arc as it turned back into its spear form, long battle flag swirling in the wind.

"Sir, please cover the West, they will pincer us otherwise! Taffy, with me! We will make their numbers meaningless!" He snapped instructions (and a suggestion in his CO's case) in quick succession at Wyte and Taffy as he advanced towards a more advantageous position, prepared to give the enemies hell.

Orwell gives Bronze a suspicious frown in passing but the pressing battle distracts him from following up.

She was somewhat glad the Grimm were grouped up tidily. Or as tidy as it could be for her.
