Noticing the sounds of explosions Barron lets out an annoyed sigh. "Now what? I hope they're not getting their asses kicked out there. Best go check up on them." He then gets into walker mode and makes his way to the lake.

Attach thrusters to the tanks in front, spinning them out of control and shoving them backwards to cause a pile on.
Get into cover after firing.

Ray decides that the poor army personnel are unlikely to all deserve death, so he decides to sauce them too.  Spread the word of the Flying Spaghetti Monster!  All Hail!

Theme song for the rest of this battle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVToexUUKzM

Shadestyle
(8 v 22)
Rather predictably Blutt's plan to deflect the several hundred rounds of small arms fire heading his way into an admittedly large building inside of a lake with a single katana while also using said katana to keep his mech from randomly crashing into walls fails spectacularly, as several dozen lucky shots manages to cause a thruster to explode, which throws him off of balance, and into the lake.

(Natural 20 v 3) For a few moments Blutt's mech became a representation of shuriken related death as it's reflexively fired a hail of surprisingly deadly throwing stars at an uncomfortably large group of soldiers who were a bit too slow when it came to taking cover. (14 v 8) Blutt's mech gently floated down to the bottom of the lake as it's legs slowly but surely regenerated.

DragonRage
(10 v 14)
Ray would find that spicy sauce makes a rather good riot control weapon after bombing another group of people who were too busy shooting at you to cover up their eyes properly. But rather unfortunately the pro pastafarian propaganda that follows immediately afterwards were ignored by the soldiers, something to do with how you temporarily blinded them.

Wolfchild
(13 v 6)
First spent a bit of quality time in the secluded corner of a nearby business park to try and relieve some stress while your mecha slowly but surely charged up its extremely deadly laser. Thankfully enough he had already moved to the other side of the park when the towering skyscraper he was floating beside exploded in a shower of gatling gun fire.

(Natural 1 v 18) The excessively high caliber rounds being fired inside of the business park leaves First's mech a lot worse for the wear before he finally managed to teleport out of the line of fire.

Despite everything his mech failed to get a clear image of his attacker, maybe it had something to do with how they were hidden underneath a semi solid layer of lead and muzzle flash the whole time. Surprisingly enough you hear the sound of gatling guns being fired in the air again, and you feel that the sound is heading your way.

Empiricist
(23 v Natural 20)
Cartwright slowly starts to realize that you can't really cause your average tank to spin out of control no matter how hard you try, but you do manage to disable some of their tank cannons by simply slamming another tank's turret onto it with the help of a well aimed thruster.

(13 v 8)
You successfully take cover behind a conveniently located skyscraper just before three tanks decide that this would be a good time to start firing some pot shots in your general direction.

Exlink32
Not much of interest happens to Barron as he made his way towards the lake, if you don't count the one sided battle going on around you or that one bit where you were suddenly bombarded by several thousand gatling gun rounds that were dense enough to leave an unfortunately large amount of dents all over your mech's body.

Attach thrusters to the remains of the skyscraper, use it as a rocket propelled wall and send it slamming into the tanks. While doing so, launch thrusters at the source of the gatling fire.

"*Blub BLUB bloop GURGLE*" Blutt shouts at the top of his lungs, killing fish in his way using his katana like a propeller to swim towards the Brick.

Barron felt a wave of overflowing anger over all these dents. He turned to the source of gun fire and overcharged his fists with electricity. "YOU LOW BORN FILTH! HOW DARE YOU DESECRATE THIS PRISTINE MECH! YOU WILL SUFFER 1000 DEATHS FOR THIS!" He charged in, aiming to punch the shit out of the men firing.

Ray attempts to use his sonic point defense systems to intercept as many shots as he can before they can strike his allies, while simultaneously playing a sick, Coltrane-inspired solo, because why not?

???????
Both Raymond and First barely had the time to get moving before the mech that attacked First earlier rockets out of the sky and unleashes a barrage of Gatling gun fire on the two of them with a disturbingly enthusiastic battle cry of "y'all'd've"
(12 v 14)
Raymond's point defense systems manages to block just enough shots to allow him to duck into the relative safety of a nearby skyscraper with nothing but an array of deep dents to show for it. Thankfully enough your saxophone was completely and utterly unharmed...somehow.
(21 v Natural 1)
First wasn't as lucky as his smooth brother in arms, and when your rapidly descending assailant opened fire on the pair, he was floating in the air...far away from any cover that would have prevented him from getting hit by the full force of the attack.
In a fit of desperation he tried to teleport away as quickly as possible from the line of fire, but his teleportation system failed him as his mech slowly started to take on the appearance of swiss cheese.

Shadestyle
You kill a frankly unnecessary amount of fish as you make your way to the ruins of the gun store/fortress once referred to as 'The Brick'. Rather unfortunately before you could actually do anything to it, you hear a calming and more importantly familiar voice say "Where the hell do you think you are going? Get your ass over to East Hamlin street, the others could use some help with the senator".

DragonRage
(12 v 8)
You spent quite a bit of time supporting your teammates by deflecting the many missiles fired by the soldiers below you. Nothing much of interest happened really, except it seems that the soldiers have learned their lesson somewhat, as they were now firing at you in an attempt to overwhelm your defenses, instead of your more squishy teammates.

Wolfchild
A part of you started to think long and hard about adding an actual safety to your particle beam as it went off by itself.
(Rolled a 2, target is still army)
You barely manage to direct it away from any of your teammates as you cut a swathe of destruction through several dozen soldiers who were too slow, and one tank that just couldn't take the hit.

Empiricist
(8 v 7)
Cartwright gives the remains of the skyscraper a stylish kick as he sends it flying towards the tanks from earlier in just the nick of time, causing it to crush the three tanks underneath its weight.
(12 v 14)
Rather unfortunately his attempt to launch thrusters at the gatling gun winged mech was much less successful as he only managed to attach a single thruster to it's rear, in the exact spot where it would do nothing but cause it to fly up to the air faster, or potentially mess up a landing....

Exlink32
(9 v 9)
You start to realize that attempting to punch the many soldiers below you one by one would be a waste of your time as you spent a considerable amount of time and effort chasing down and punching a grand total of seven soldiers, and (17 v Natural 20) getting your fancy ass shot by a nearby tank, which left a rather large gash on your mecha's left arm.

Everyone
Every single missile the coup d'etat forces fired is shot down or deflected away by an excessively overworked Raymond, and the majority of their tanks have been crushed, or completely and utterly vaporized. It seemed that the five of you had no more obstacles to prevent you from finally putting an end to Senator Geoffrey Ulysses Newman and his reign of terror over Texas.

Everyone would hear a slight crackling sound before an ecstatic voice said "Open fire on the bastard! He can't do his stupid gatling gun trick to dodge if the air is nothing but a solid wall of bullets! FIGHT HIS EXCESSIVE FIRE POWER WITH EVEN MORE FIREPOWER!" you realize that while Meredith has a point, her suggestion is a bit...impractical to say the least.

The crackling sound continues for a bit before it is replaced by the sound of somebody hurriedly trying to say "What in the actual fuck? No, just try and find a way to keep him off balance, maybe have Raymond push him into the bay with some more smooooth Jazz if he tries to fly again" You realize that Jamal is telling you to get the senator somewhere where he won't be able to accidentally harm any civilians.

((You can now ask your mission control advisers, Meredith Rand and Jamal Wilson for advice and information at any time or place))

"Blubb blub Bloooop BLoOoP" Blutt responds, rapidly swimming to the surface with his katana in hand, before erupting from the surface like a rocket propelled shark.

"I'll KILL that SENATOR!" Blutt Screams at the top of his lungs, loud enough that everyone can hear it.

Blutt then tries to land on his katana, using it like a ski to slide along towards the enemy senator.

"Time for a little American ingenuity..."
Get into cover, launch thrusters in circling trajectories aiming to form a vortex of thrusters surrounding the mech that then rapidly shrinks.
