-snip-I get bored and impatient when IC is silent. Sorry.

Same here. :P I can't do anything about it until after next chapter though.

Are you going to show up mid-combat?

I'm not 100% on that, but I think I join at the start of the next map.

That's true too. I guess it's up to Wolfhunter if he feels it's an acceptable risk or not.

I think I'm going to hold off on promoting for now.

Also on promoting: you can't promote until you're First Class level 10 anyways.

I would buy the sword for Jaromer or the Heavy Gauntlet for me for that extra AID and CON. While the Swiftsole is tempting, 2000 gold is too much for us. What do you guys think?
Quote from: Regal Sword: 1625 gold
Name | Type ( ) | Rng | Wt | Mt | Hit | Cr | Ql |
Regal Sword | Crsh (-) | 1 | 10 | 7 | 95 | 10 | 40 |
Effective vs. Horseback, Armored
Unique to Mercenary tree
Quote from: Consumables
Blade Ring (+1 STR): 1000 gold
Dancer Ribbon (+1 SPD): 1250 gold
Heavy Gauntlet (+1 CON, AID): 1500 gold
Swiftsole (+1 MOV): 2000 gold
Gold: 3780
I'm also going to leave the weapon shop list here just in case anyone needs it.
Quote from: Evelyn's weapons
Iron Sword: 380 g
Slim Sword: 350 g
Iron Rapier: 430 g
Iron Blade: 550 g
Slim Lance: 400 g
Iron Lance: 440 g
Iron Javelin: 640 g
Iron Halberd: 500 g
Iron Dagger: 350 g
Iron Knife: 420 g
And the staff prices. Maybe I could get another heal staff later if we have extra money and we need more healing.
Quote from: Staff stuff
Heal: 500 g
Antidote: 400 g
Sleep: 620 g
Barrier: 570 g

Let me ask you this: what do you need the Heavy Gauntlet for?

The handbook says it also increases AID, so I think it would be useful for rescuing allies. That way, we don't have to risk having one of our main fighters getting the rescuing penalties.

Horesback gives you +14 AID which is more than enough to rescue any other non mounted unit and even some mounted ones. Also, rescue doesn't inflict penalties since losing actions was decided to be penalty enough for the usefulness of rescuing in FEF.

Oh, I see. But the extra AID still helps since most of our team members are mounted units. I didn't see anyone else suggesting things to buy and we can afford both the Heavy Gauntlet and the Regal Sword, but if you think buying the Gauntlet would be a waste of the gold then I won't do it.

Considering how useful rescuing is, Heavy Gauntlet is usually for helping wield heavier weapons, and hidden weapons are pretty light so that with proficiency bonuses you wouldn't take speed penalties anyways.

Okay, I edited the action out. I still don't know what we should buy as a team (other than the sword).

Iron dagger/knife would arm one of your new teammates. :3
