Ok. Here's my entry into potential plans:


Plan Transport Interdiction
Skiffs at Kasgyr's Middle-Spire move to Kasgyr's Northern Spire
Skiffs at Three Captains attempt to move to Kasgyr's Northern Spire, and join up with the previous group.
Tactics will of course be on AGILE with one of them being on High Vigil, and we'll tell them to keep an eye out for and engage any Kasgyrite convoy heading towards Three Captains, chasing after them all the way to the spire if necessary.

Skiffs at Wreth will remain where they are.
Produce 6 reams of webbing (We'll overflow on silk again. And the Windrider would need 8 of them anyway, and we already have 2.)


(Potential Addition: Replace Herbie's IS very small core crystal with a normal small. Refit one of the skiffs staying at Wreth with that crystal. We can spare the crystal. We can actually spare a fair bit. Up to 15, if we don't want to delay deploying the Windrider. And yes, I am assuming MAX trim crystals.)

(Draignean, just for one last confirmation; we can refit a production line skiff with that crystal without buying the entire boat yeah? If I understand it right we just won't get its current crystal, that goes back to the production line?)

I'm in favour of Plan Transport Interdiction as it is now. Avec Herbie refit, why not. It'd be interesting to see what a super-skiff can do.

Given the low odds at encountering their transport, I don't think it will work.

Plan Resource Harass
Skiffs in Kasgyr territory move to their central demi-spire and attack resource shipping, while trying to avoid military encounters larger than they are. (If that's too hard, just engage civilian shipping while not engaging military targets.)
2x Skiffs at Three Captains move to top Kasgyr demi-spire, with the same orders as above.
1x Skiff at Three Captains returns to capital.
Herbie gets refit with standard small crystal, and it's old crystal is given to a skiff.

 Jilladilla, any chance you could revise your plans slightly to involve the skips at the northern Demi moving back to the three captains.  This will give us maximum chance of interception.

I'd rather not. We want to bunch our skiffs together, maximising their effectiveness.

WOSV is for transports, and other non-combat vessels, I think. Combat vessels should be WOCV, or WOMV. WOFV? I dunno.

...That's basically Plan All Skiffs to TC...

And besides, if we intercept at Three Captains, we have the Kunai to deal with. We can't kill or even fight off the Kunai at the moment, even with 7 skiffs. (Maybe if we catch it alone. Big no with the potential 4 skiff escort)

Chances are that the Kunai in addition to the Transports Escort's (mostly the Kunai, really) would be able to force us to retreat before we could shoot down any of the transports.

If we intercept them at the Demi-Spire we'll still halt their movement, even if we fail to kill them all. At TC, failing to kill them or chase them off results in them deploying reinforcements. (Good luck chasing them off with just skiffs with the Kunai present though...)

...Potential point, edited the plan a bit with a bit of fluff permitting those skiffs to pursue the Kasgyrite convoy all the way back to Three Captains if necessary.

I don't think it does. They probably aren't using resource escorts yet, so at it's simplest form it's "Attack the shipping, don't engage the military," which shouldn't take any extra training. I'll edit that in.

Your skiffs can attack shipping. However, without an additional tactic, they're also likely to blunder into range of a demi-spire's dock guns.
