I'll wait for their propaganda to be posted so I don't give them a baseline for success.

Yeah, and then you wait too long and we get nothing.

Good point.
Allow me to compromise.

Heh heh heh.

I like it, but I worry that even if Kasgyr doesn't hand in anything, we might still not get the 6 with something that uninspiring.

Maybe wait a while and post the real thing, even if Kasgyr does nothing.

1. Something is always better than nothing.
2. The game turn won't go until we've decided on construction and strategy
3. Draignean will, as always, give some warning before the turn kicks over.
4. Draignean will likely give a very loud warning if Kasgyre still hasn't submitted a propaganda.

I don't want to show our hand early and enliven/dishearten them.
So if you want it posted now you'll need to win a vote. :p

Quote from: Plan All Skiffs to TC
Orders:
Two skiffs at Kasgyr Middle Demispire: Move to Three Captains. AGILE tactics.
Two skiffs at Wreth: Move to Three Captains. AGILE tactics.
Three skiffs at Three Captains: Lurk in the mists until backup arrives/a Kasgyrite transport is sighted. Thereafter, 1 ship on High Vigil, rest using AGILE tactics.

Construction:
2 Reams of Webbing (4 silk)
Like I said before, we just want to prevent them from landing more marines at TC. I don't know what level of orders we can give our ships without using tactics- I don't think we can say "Only target transports". If we can, though, we want them to only target transports, and avoid engaging the Kunaiship as much as possible.

Incidentally, I did the maths. If I haven't made a mistake somewhere, we have rolled 60 dice so far, with an average of 3.166. Which isn't even that bad. It's just that if the rolls were weighted for importance, I feel like we'd be closer to 2.5.
I think a more useful metric would be dividing the rolls between time, cost, and effectiveness, so we can easily compare those three categories.

Won't we lose ships again with no benefit if we continue advancing on the 3 captains?
Also I say we refit the Herbie, and put the crystals in a skiff, which can be our Vigil skiff thereafter, and special and named, right up until it dies ignobly due to awful rolls.

Uh. Or I could write it up and pretend I can do effort
Quote from: Plan Find That Transport
Kasgyr Middle demispire Skiffs to The Unfinished, to catch any transports.
Three Skiffs at Three Captains move to The Sundered to check for transports and investigate the anomaly of the spire
One Skiff at Wreth moves to reinforce The Unfinished
One skiff at Wreth stays to relieve the Herbie of it's ISVS crystals
The Herbie is refitted with either Std. S crystals or ISS Crystals.

Really, two options that I see here:

Move the skiffs at Three Captains and the ones on Kasgyr's middle demi-spire to their northern demi-spire: Attempt to intercept the transports mid-flight. It may run into issues of the Corvette interrupting our skiffs movement though. It'll be a 5v4 (probably) if we manage to intercept

Alternatively, all in on Three Captains. It'll be a 7v4+corvette though, and we almost certainly won't be able to beat it off, not with that much of an escort, so it may force a retreat before we can truly intercept their transports. Also the two skiffs at Kasgyr's middle demi-spire might run into hostiles at the northern one, and get caught in a 2v4... They should delay the transports in that case, at the very least. (We should outclass their skiffs enough to, while not win, at least engage the transports). At the same time, this could cause enough of a distraction for us to possibly sneak Herbie in with Marine reinforcements.

Hmm, yeah. Moving five skiffs to their left demispire to intercept transports might also work. In which case the two skiffs at Wreth should remain there, I think, to give Herbie a four-skiff escort next turn. We've seen that a two-skiff escort is not enough to keep a transport safe vs the Kunai, hence why I don't want to risk sending the Herbie to HM- they might have a similar idea to us and move the Kunai there.

I think our pair of skiffs should harass their middle demi-spire. Given our skiff superiority, it forces them to either delay sending two turn's worth of skiff production to the front, or to build a second corvette and send it there first.

That sounds like a good idea, sinking shipments I mean.

Oddly, they got their reinforcements in the turn before, but the Kunai is sitting still there this turn.
Are they attempting a blockade of their own?

I think the lack of skiffs we encountered this turn was due to Kasgyr sending some back with their transports... I'm fully expecting the 2 missing skiffs to be at Kasgyr right now, and will head back to TC with their transports and 2 new skiffs.
