Their captain complained about not using his cutlass. I guess that means they wanted to board.

So, we're in a nasty position, or so it seems. The more dice we throw at the Cloudrunner, the better right now. Here's my proposition: Three dice to cloudrunner, basically ensuring a prototype whether or not we can do anything with it. Then a die for tactics upgrade. The other one, I'd kinda like to toss into the PLACE, or save it for next turn when we could give it to the PLACE. Alright save a die for next turn, then give two into PLACE. Do whatever necessary with the Cloudrunner, whether it's revisions or a rush to finish it doesn't really matter, we'll have four dice to do so.

Boy I hope we don't regret this.

Haze Maze

Unfortunately, the time spent searching for the Wreth Skyskiff in the mist meant that the three skyskiffs that had fought were unable to joint up with the Implacable.

I vote 2 dice.

Regardless of how buggy it is, I feel it critical to design a tactic to avoid the big ship and get the transport, so they cannot drop marines on our home demispires this turn. If I only want 1 die towards revising the ship, then we may as well save that die for revising it next turn, if we can't get a prototype this turn.

We can't.

Designing tactics takes multiple turns, just like everything else.

Poor wording. Revising a tactic to go behind the big ship and hit the transport(s) it's guarding shouldn't need a design action.

OK. I want to make a tactic reliant on sheer outmaneuvering to place more shots on a single location of large targets (Use our greater mobility to hit the same spot. Again and again. Instead of just shooting wherever.)

Turns and updates may slow down for a few days.

Anyway. A revision to have our ships focus on taking out transports might be worth it, if we think they really are planning on invading the Haze Maze. If we word it as a 'hunt the weak' tactic, it would be applicable in more situations than just attacking transports- like targeting damaged or weaker vessels first.
Let's see how the prototype turns out (assuming we don't roll terribly and not get it). If it doesn't need tons of attention, we could spend a die on such a tactic.

Personally I want to wait and design the officer training school.
Then we should have volley fire and everything be inclusive in a huge tactics update.

I think that after we finish the cloud runner we need to work on improved shrouds. As it is we have better guns and better mobility, but our ships are just as flimsy, if not flimsier, than theirs.

Separate shroud-crystals would be the best bet, I think.

That's actually pretty brilliant.
It means more things which can blow up in the event of a penetrating hit though.
