Honestly, I don't like the idea of deploying a prototype. The risk of loosing it is too great.

I'm fairly sure losing the prototype doesn't kill the project though? We're just barred from building another until we finish the project. I mean, we're deploying the prototype, not all copies of its technical details and blueprints.

So long as we make the necessary revisions before deploying it, losing it doesn't matter. We can still finish the design without it, only we can't revise it (we also can't revise it whilst it is deployed)

Losing the prototype just means we have to wait until the project is finished to revise it. Also, one's an infantry cannon (The enemy probably can't match it, they've not faced spiders yet) and the other's a brand-new warship with fancy armor plating. If it doesn't get the armor, THEN we have to worry.

Draig, could we equip the Cloudrunner prototype with Itshana Selects at-cost? And if we did, would it have any other effects besides adding the crystals?

Also, we need to be certain to keep track of what we have and have had, just in case we want to salvage stuff.

The prototype Cloudrunner hull will just be a prototype Cloudrunner hull. Nothing else. You will have to buy any and all additional equipment (like guns/crystals/webbing) needed to take her from a bare hull to a finished ship. So, yes, you can outfit with Itshana selects, but at-cost is no exception. Even the basic materials will be 'at-cost'.

She will be tested with various kits, but those testing materials don't leave the lab.

Revises are better done on prototypes than on complete designs.

But yeah, I'm actually quite in favour of 2/2 on both of the designs.
It'll cost important ore but we only need 8 for fireteam gauntlets.
... not sure gauntlets will get the job done but let's find out. The PLACE certainly will.

I believe that marines have landed in the Haze Maze already? Herbie should currently be devoid of any cargo. We should move her back to Wreth, obviously.

The marines should stay there.

I don't see a reason for the Herbie to do anything other than withdraw to the capital. Even if they're also moving to the capital, I don't expect a double combat roll, and we'll have more skiffs next turn to protect it.

I think the skiffs on The Unfinished should stay where they are. Gaining more intel by pushing into their territory could help, but I'd rather cripple their deployment efforts in the middle spires.

We only have one skiff at the unfinished. If we send the two and one to protect the Herbie, we'll at least have a "fair" fight.
Unless they do something unexpected again and intercept one of the parties.

The skiff by the Unfinished cannot reach the Haze Maze (where the Enemy's skiffs were last spotted) in a single turn. There may be value in pulling it back to Wreth. A single Skiff isn't going to do much good by itself, after all.

Um... Guys? We have TWO skiffs at the Unfinished, be more thorough in reading through the report.

Other than that, 3 skiffs at Three Captains, and 2 skiffs at Wreth.

And Tack, if you mean refunding dice, that happens on project completion. We're not getting that unless we focus more dice towards the PLACE or get 6,6 as our rolls

Anyway, I feel it's time to conjure the votebox guys!

I think that the 50% project barrier only exists on the first design roll, while +project rolls don't have it.
