Sustained Operations
Efficacy: 3
Training men to fight at odd hours is difficult. Military camps are based around strict schedules, and having units that violate those schedules mean that half-a-dozen non-combat related, but also non-trivial, problems also arise in keeping them well fed, well rested, and ready to fight. A workable system is drafted, tested lightly, and approved, that should allow squads to swap in and out for unconventionally timed attacks against the enemy. By assigning this tactic to a squad, and giving it another target squad, it will use their equipment to launch secondary raids, and do their best to copy over whatever tactic they had. To launch multiple asynchronous raids, attached sustained operations to a squad already on sustained operations. There is reduced equipment recovery the SuOp teams, and they cannot assist or reinforce standard attacks.

Spire Wreth's Production Stands At,
13(+8)/y Crystal, 35/65 Banked
19(+2)/y Ore, 24/95 banked
19(+6)/y Wood, 86/95 banked
10/y Silk, 34/50 banked

It is now the production, deployment, and tactics phase.

WIth the enemy fleet at TU, our fleet at enemy demispire are quite safe, with no risk of being engaged by significant enemy forces ( they can't reach us in one turn). Due to this, I propose we continue the siege. It deprives them of resources and prepares an eventual assault on the demispire, which is likely undefended. The risk is minimal, our windriders against 100 % defenses only suffered armor damage on one ship and now they are at 75%. Skiffs can be kept entirely at YARR, since we likely aren't going to see any battle there. We keep it like this, and in 3 turns we will be ready to invade, and the airspace won't be any harder to fight in than a neutral spire.

As a concession to those who don't want to risk any loss, we can pull back the damaged windrider, while we move forward the fresh one.

In addition, I want to send some ships to assist the master. It will be an outnumbered fleet if they stay at TU and fight, but it does protect our demispires and can tie them down at TU, while we soften their demispire. Plus, we will be assisted by the master during the battle, meaning that their ships will be sluggish and/or mad. He already incapacitated one viper by himself.
Should they not fight at TU, we will be in a good position to go pirating around their other demispires, chocking their resource flow and forcing them to choose which demispire to save. Attacking the pirate fleet would be safer, but it condemns the sieged spire.
A good tactic for that small expedition is AGILE, which prolongs the fight making the mental pwoers of the Master more effective.

So, as a backup for if no one manages to draw something, have this pom.
Quote
THE ARCHANGEL

Sailors turn your boats away
when you see that holy light.
Live to sail another day,
not for mortals is the sight-

Of pearly wings and golden skin
and a face I shan't describe.
See it and your vision's fin
and you're driven to imbibe.

Heed my words, you sons of men,
such beauty, 'tis not for us.
Worship from afar, ye ken-
and they'll never make a fuss.

Fear the angel, praise its name
or our fates will be the same.

Worst case scenario, it's not like that Windrider (that we're sending to TU) is a critical asset. So sure, let's do this.

Behold! they made me do art.

Draignean said that visual art gets valued more than literature because he wanted pretty pictures.
So I am going to vote this.
It is your fault for not making alternatives.

I'm going to start writing the turn very soon, so unless there's a great hue and cry, I'm locking the vote in.
