Shouldn't a revision need at least 2 votes to go forward?

No? It's certainly not in the rules anywhere. You're free to make multiple bank a die or bank n dice options.

I just assumed that if only one person voted for something it wouldn't be done...

Revisions and designs will be handled in the manner they've been handled for the last hundred pages. I will go down the order of popularity, resolve ties through rolls, and use/bank dice until there are no more left. There is no gating based on number of votes- with the exception of 0.

Alright, so, about those fuses. I feel like you're treating a symptom, not the disease. Which in this case is the faulty wiring in the Windrider that causes those power surges that necessitate fuses in the first place. Fix the wiring, and our shitty fuses should be good enough, since the power surges that cause them to burn out early won't happen anymore.

Fuses have the advantage that they're transferable to other designs.

A good point there, NUKE, although I was on the fence on that and mostly too lazy to get off it.
Still, let us hope that with the current course of action at least one dice goes well, for if they don't, the 2 revisions will just be 2 more strikes for diminishing returns to kick in... Still, if both go well, nice work with anticipating the rolls, those of you who have voted for that. But I've said my piece, and wish to not restart this argument.

if not advanced fuses, at least a revision to untangle wiring? the boom and zoom gave us further insight on the problem, so it should be feasible

Yeah, I could get behind a revision to do that, going over the wiring carefully and making sure that the separate circuits remain separate.

First off, NUKE, you corrupted my vote from "Only one revision" to "Only one other revision".

Second: Why not save the two dice from the Itshana revisions, and do them as a design? If we fail, we block off avenues of improvement, and if we succeed, well, maybe? We've probably not got great odds of easy success, nor would success be terribly useful in a revision.

It would take more time, yes, I understand, however it would give us much better chances at achieving what we want to do. Of course, I'd like to go through a different route, that of just generically understanding crystals better (Much better) and using the auto-6 to do it. Then we use the resulting improvements to improve the Itshana process (If the fluff agrees) to be cheaper (We'd just be applying new knowledge, hopefully) or just make the crystals strong enough to be worth the price.
Reconsidered that option. We should just do an Itshana But Cheaper DESIGN, and then later come back with the Know Thy Floaty Thingies research design.

With that clarification, I moved mine and NUKE's votes from 'Only one other revision' to 'Save one die', as looking at NUKE's other votes and his 'corruption' of yours, it seems to be what he meant. Oh, and changed yours back to 'Only one revision'

And really, an Itshana but Cheaper design would likely run into risks of not being as effective and/or having bad side effects depending on how its effectiveness and bug rolls go...
