I have to voice some concerns about the present plan.

The enemy fleet was stopped at the demi-spire last turn. That means they will be attacking after only one movement next turn. Our transport is 2 movements out.

Personally, I don't think we are in a position to win this engagement at the moment. Our fleet is down a viper and several skiffs, while based on the fact that they have been burning skiffs, they probably have skiffs maxed out and an unknown number of super-skiffs as well.

I have been wrong before. We might win. If we do, everything is great. If we don't, our transport will arrive too late to deliver troops during the chaos of the fighting. It will be shot down without a fight. If we do commit to an all out engagement, we can likely shoot down thier transports which will stall them a few turns, but they will shoot down ours in turn.

Alternatively, we know that thier fleet will be engaged this turn, ending at the TC. We can take advantage of this to stage a landing on the unfinished.

If we move now, our fleet will end on wrack spire, and theirs on the TC. Next turn we can land both transports at the UF, with full fleet support, and there is no way they can threaten our fleet during this.

I believe that this is the thing to do. They are currently drawing resources from the UF, but not the TC. If we commit at the TC and lose, they have both spires. If we win at the TC, they have one spire.
If we commit to landing at the UF, we can have 1 spire almost assured.

I do not think we should land at unfinished. Because it will make our marines go insane, it will make our aeronauts go insane if we defend the airspace, and it has no ore making it the least valuable belt spire for us. The biggest advantage of us capturing it would be denying wreth its crystal, which we can do better by strafing their infrastructure. It would be a much better idea to send our marines to reinforce Burned Mountain and keep pushing there despite the heat and gas.

I would not mind changing Natalie X's mission from escorting Dionysus to strafing Unfinished. Deny wreth crystal for a turn. Then run away before retaliation or insanity hits.

We need to keep denying them three captains rescources. We can do that either by holding ground or holding the air. If we abandon the air this turn they will likely land new troops. If they do that our marines will be overwhelmed and won't be able to gain ground. They will likely control the ground and air and be able to fortify the spire and get its rescources. We need to deny them those rescources. To do that we need to prevent them from landing. For that we need ships in the air.

It's a moot point. We don't have enough ships in the air at the moment to keep them from landing anyways, It's just a matter of when.

Alternatively, we could use thier current commitment to land at an enemy demi-spire.

Edit: If we do try to land at the UF, we will have another turn to push through some stuff via revision to support the landing in that environment.

We have three warships and six Natalies. The crap skiff is negligible at this point, and the transports are liabilities rather than combat vessels.

I'm going to assume Wreth have the equivalent of four warships, as they'll probably have been investing about the same amount of effort in hem as we have (and we lost one last turn).
I'm also going to assume they have the maximum number of skiffs, as they've been throwing them at us. Let's go with ten, like our max of Natalies.

Thus, they're outgunning us by about 25%. That would probably lead to us losing our entire fleet and them losing half at most. We would not be able to recover from that.

I suggest we pull our ships out of TC and trust our marines to hold the line until we can come back. Ideally, we'd divide and conquer somehow (maybe with pirate Natalies?), but we would otherwise have to hope we can outproduce them before out marines get killed off and they secure their second belt spire.

That would probably lead to us losing our entire fleet
I would prefer if this statement was revised in light of the actual results of previous battles. You may wish to consider the possibility of some section of our fleet surviving to retreat. I have no objection to you saying that we would probably lose the majority of our fleet for instance.

Same as bug out with a few key differences. Marines continue to employ shield wall for another turn. Ships move to the middle demi-spire so they can reach UF next turn. (Is the middle demi-spire Blackstone? The map in the OP has the demi-spires unlabeled.)

Regardless of which is the best plan, we need to vote.

I'm happy enough with this one.

Also, Draig, could we get the names of the Wrethi demi-spires as well? Referring to them as left/right/central is getting old.

Includes paying for the trim web conversion.
Clarifying trim crystal amounts.
Switching TC marines to shield wall.
Switching BM marines to Bait and Strike.
Moving fleet to The Hive. That way they are 1 turn away from TC or Unfinished.
Making One-Eyed Will strafe unfinished.

Edit: I would like to upgrade upgrade Anguis and Viperidae before building a new viper, but don't have the time and energy to write suchh a plan right now.

Edit: We could convert Anguis to a quad vanguard and give it three vamguards, instead of having two vanguards on good mounts and 1 on a shitty mount. Alternatively we could give Anguis and Viperidae vanguards in good upper deck medium mounts, then have give the third vanguard (and all the spare kettleguns) to a near future new viper. More even fleet that doesn't rely entirely on one vulnerable ship.

Next turn we should have enough to send out another viper. All bronzewood, all topaz except for the kettleguns, topaz vanguard.

In the future we can equip the mothballed Anguis similar to Causinae as a lower tier Viper.

We have a really good pl project. We need to use resources on that to transition to producing vipers instead of building vipers.
